So what if biotics were a little stronger, would levitate shielded targets, but would drain a portion of barrier each time they are used, like nova does. Would you like that?

Nope. They're fine as is. It's the amount of enemies w/ protections that was the problem IMO, and ME3 has fixed that.

No. These days it's less about levitations and more about biotic explosions.
