You are possibly not going to be pleased with your choice in ME3.
I'm still hoping choosing Anderson means the Alliance fleet will be stronger in ME3.

Highlight for spoilers.
Yes

Yeah, I never bothered to read why it's the case (to avoid even more spoilers), but that's what the people who have played the game are saying.

Damnit, I had choosen Anderson first way back in ME1 because Udina was a bastard, then recently replaying the series I chose Udina because he had more expierences(Anderson had none really).
I hate when logical decisions hurt you in this series.

One a guy never listens and is at points actively working against me while I'm trying to save the galaxy. The other guy believes every word you say and actively helps you whenever he can. How is choosing the one who screws you logical?

If Shepard had listened to Udina after Udina grounded him, the entire galaxy would have been destroyed.

I have a strong feeling that we'll only be seeing alliance cruisers, alliance dreadnoughts, Turian Cruisers, Geth and Quarian Ships, and maybe Asari Ships. I doubt we'll see anything more than those but it would be really nice to see others such as the Elcor, Hanar, Volus, and Batarian Fleets. I also wonder as to why the alliance has more fleets left than the other races. I know Palaven gets hit hard but the Turians are implied to have a larger navy. Also im not sure sure if sur'kesh gets hit by the reaper invasion but if they dont than that means the Salarians should have more fleets avaliable than the Alliance.John Never Dies wrote...
I hate to be the person who had to make the battle cutscenes over and over again because of all the different variables of characters, war assets, and modifiers you can or can not have. Hell there probably isn't even a final battle cutscene showing everything you got, like DA:O.
EDIT: if anyone can send me the geth/quarian info that be cool

The Elcor, Hanar, Volus, and Batarian fleets are all on this list. Did you jump into the thread without reading the list that it's based on?

Nope... there are multiple Human fleets as well as multiple Salarian, Turian and Asari fleets. If you saved the Concel, the Asari even have the Desteny Asention. There are at least 2 Krogan fleets, a Rachni fleet (if you saved the Queen), a Volus fleet, an Elcor fleet Batarian fleet, Hanar/Drell fleet, Omega Fleets for the 3 top Merc grups, Quarian, Geth and even a Cerberus fleet that all can help out. Yes I said Cerberus. Just because The IM and his Cerberus faction dont like you does not mean we will not get aid from OTHER Cerberus factions. Remember... the IM did say in Mass 2 that Cerberus was devided into cells that for the most part... dont not know one from the other. There is no reason to believe that ALL Cerberus is tring to kill Shepard.PsYGuY508 wrote...

Understood. The Volus have a Dreadnaught. I certainly hope to see that thing in the final battle. Would be nice if all the ships did show up. I certainly agree with you there.PsYGuY508 wrote...

I don't know, I just found putting Anderson on the council, would be like putting Joker on the front lines of the ground battles for Earth.
Anyways, what happens with Udina on the Council? It is a big enough choice to play ME2 over again to change the decision in the shuttle?

I definately want to see that in action. Alot of people find it funny but I think its completely possible that the Volus are able to build an impressive ship, after all, they do have the money to build one.izmirtheastarach wrote...

I say just play your game as is. Isnt the fun of the next game to find out how your picks make you Mass 3 playthrough different from the next guy's? I also piked Udina for the Councel in hopes that if Anderson was not boged down by all the buricratic red tape that it may free him up to fight with me at some point on the front lines or at least let him be free enough to captin a ship again in the last battle. After all it was the Councel that made him give up the Normandy in game 1 to you when he really didnt want to. I say let your game play out and see what happens.John Never Dies wrote...

I certainly agree with that. That's part of what makes an RPG.
