As long as they didn't screw with the bar I'm happy.
Mhm. Though, Kasumi had the best set up for a bar in her quarters.

Some parts of the Normandy were destroyed at the end of ME2, so it will be a bit different in 3
But in the end game the ship was repaired?
I don't think so. After the final mission, there is a cutscene showing the Normandy with sections destroyed. I believe section from the bottom and second tier (observation level) were demaged. It then shows repairs being made and your squad mates standing around. Although you can continue after the final mission with the Normandy intact, I think the final condition before the credits is what one is suppose to believe is the end of Mass effect 2. I don't know if I made sense, and I could be wrong. lol

While the Normandy will certainly be familiar in ME3, it is not the Normandy from ME2. The rooms are (basically) in the same position, but there are a number of changes you will see.
My favorite feature though is how your part members don't stay in one spot all the time. Definitely my favorite new Normandy feature.
ahmahgawd! spoilers.... j/k. That is pretty cool. Just hope they aren't hard to find.

Why, wasn't the running around the ship to catch up with everyone after each mission in ME/ME2 time consuming and tedious enough?Chris Priestly wrote...

The ME2 Normandy didn't have a War Room or a Lounge.
The ME3 one does.
Oh you mean a real CIC aka as a war room wow how long did it take Bioware to figure that out . can we actually use the lounge while on board

I've always preferred the idea that crew and squad wander the ship, not always of course, the issue for most people is finding them, easy, use a comm panel to have them meet you in a specified location, and since there is a lounge, there ya go.Nima55 wrote...
why does know one consider that the squadies might still be in one room, just that they move around that room =P

But well, i'm still curious to know why the Alliance took and transform a ship who was never their property. I mean, it was a civilian ship "borrowed" from Cerberus by Shepard after the "collector base incident". It never was a alliance ship... I guess my Shep will ask some explanations. Poor Ashley...

plus the normandy, while being a damn sexy ship, isn't exacly huge. we're not talking about a star destroyer here

Cerberus stole the designs from the Alliance, so the Alliance is just taking back what was theirs in the first place. Naughty Cerberus.

I'm more concerned about 'the loft'. I was pretty fond of that area.
Indeed, the Alliance better not have shrunk my personal quarters down to that tiny dark hole that was the SR1's captain's quarters...
