Isn't Prothy supposed to be a DLC character?  He's in that leaked early demo, and his abilities are in the real demo files.

Why is his stuff all over the place when he is DLC and, I dunno, should be DOWNLOADED?

...Huh.  Maybe he isn't DLC after all...

Or he's already on the disc like half of all DLC these days.

I'd prefer it if he became installed in the game.
Then I wouldn't have to wait ALL day for the DLC to be uploaded to the BioWare PC Servers.
I want to jump in with Prothy, not get halfway through the game because I had to wait for it to be uploaded.

I'm guessing he's on the disc too. I don't really mind though. I'm against DLC already on the disc but he was incentive for the CE so it makes sense for him to have to be paid for.

This is what I was saying over in the other thread. He might be DLC, but given the leaked dialogue (and plot spoilers) we know already, that's extremely unlikely. The character makes several references to the current conflict that's going on, discusses the state of various species (and has dialogue with several other crew members)...as I noted, I don't see how a pivotal character like that could be DLC - it's basically an admission that he has nothing to do with the main story.

At least have the liberty to take it out of the disc and pretend you developed the DLC post release. It's like buying a car and the dealership charges you extra for the GPS and radio which are already installed in the car. They'll at the very least remove them from the car instead of leaving them on the car and block access.

I've always said it's for for Project $10, makes sense to have some of the files on the disc (just like zaeed)

Kasumi also had several of her files on disc well before her DLC was ever released.

He was planned to be part of the CE a LONG time ago. Obviously he's going to be on the disc; Bioware doesn't and shouldn't have to pretend he was developed post release. And yes, he should've been free, but he was incentive for the CE so obviously everyone else has to pay. That's just the way things are, and it's perfectly acceptable.
