I want to.....but the only other character I have unloacked so far is an Asari Adept. I really want to try out the Quarian.

Quarian with flamethrower turret is great. Not a huge fan of cryo though, wish there was some other power there instead. Sabotage maybe.

She's the best. Just keep buyin' them Veteran Packs Anathama and you'll probably get her. And yeah, I barely ever use the cyro. I always incinerate and blast them with my Katana or rapidly shoot them with my pistol.

yeah the human variant is better because overload is awesome cryo is weak.

Still, plenty of quarian love. Only carry a Mattock X for quick CD.

Nah I'd go for all the powers and alliance training and ignore fitness, or split alliance training and fitness.

I do find overload my most useful go-to power.

overload when fully upgraded hits up to 3 targets instantly, and will knock them down or stun them, it destroys just about any kind of shield/barrier instantly (atlas shield being the only exception) and has a really low cooldown. Cryo and incinerate can't touch it in its current form.

And human engineers can get the drone that also gets a chain shock attack, excellent way to lock down any kind of group of infantry, guardians are the only ones that are able to block a shock attack but you can just pop a drone behind them and they'll turn around.

Overload is better than Incinerate, at least against Cerberus. Upgrade it to chain and neural shock, and you're basically unstoppable. 

I personally went for rank-6 on all of the humangineer's active powers, but I leveled Overload first.

Overload is better than Incinerate, at least against Cerberus. Upgrade it to chain and neural shock, and you're basically unstoppable.

yep, i can rip a phantoms entire shields/barrers in one hit leaving just health. Its awesome and imo required for silver/gold to 'prep' the area for easy kills. 

add an asari and it gets way easier fast as phantoms are nutered

oh and when they have just health they fall down and shake like a taser is hitting them....its really fun

i got the turian with the turret finally but i wanted overload back 3 rds into a game

Agreed with the overload part, since there are more shields than armor in demo. Don't get why cryo gets no love . I used to spam incinerate all the time, then I discovered AOE cryo bonus damage +carnifex headshot combo. Now I only use incinerate to cover bust unless my old reflex goes off.

and it lights them up pretty good 
but i wish i had that and overload

Combat Drone is a lot better than Sentry Turret imo.
And Overload is drastically better than incinerate and cryo.

Kind of noob-ish question (this is the firs time I've played as an engineer), but does overload actually affect the enemy's health at all?

Yes it does, but not by much. Its a CC power on organics as it'll stun them, allowing you to shoot them full of holes safely and quickly.

I'm leveling up my Bot, but I'm not sure if I should start diverting points to Overload now. Although, I don't get to touch the colors till tomorrow, brother is asleep.
