Wow, this game looks great. When does the story part of the game come out?

It's ok.

Tho even for multiplayer it seems lacking in content.

Uuh. A release date trailer.

I just really love the "against all odds - heroically against the foreign alien invaders of superior technological advancement" theme. Partly because I come from a culture with a very similar period of heroic history myself (some mingled with many a blood-soaked heroic defeat).

It looked ok, but isn't in the class of Project Eternity.

So it seems we'll be leading our people? Looks awesome!

@Angrywolves.

I don't think they have the same budget xD

Eh, not nearly the same budget, no :)

I love the art style of The Banner Saga and its combat, that, from what I could see from Factions and the gameplay videos of the campaign, is well done and pretty solid.
I'm also quite interested in seeing how the choices and consequences turn out to be.

Glad I kickstarted this :)

I hope it's not a mediocre game with no or little voice acting and gameplay complexity.. Kick-Starter games haven't been that great.

The game is now out on Steam for PC. I've downloaded it, but can't play till tonight. So far its getting very solid reviews with an 84 on Metacritic at the moment.

Too bad that Valve and Steam is involved.  That system may not be as totally screwed up as Origin, but it's still absolutely unnecessary added software I don't want on my gaming machines.

It will be released on GOG DRM-free as well. Not sure when, but the GOG staff said it's definitely going to be available there.

That's good to know.  I have enjoyed doing business with the Witcher's development company, except for their forum's designers/ website management.  I gave up trying to sort out the log in after two or three different accounts all went into the bit bucket, just evaporated.

I passed up ME-3 because of Origin, Skyrim because of Steam, and probably will ignore DA: I, as well, for the same reason.

Any game finishers here yet? I am curious to know how long the game is. If it is not too long, I might play before Spring break. I am afraid to launch the game as I am about to have not much time, and I absolutely cannot stand not finishing a game after starting it.

Haven't yet played it myself, but according to some reviews the game stands somewhere around 10 hours long. But it apparently has replay value, so guess that makes up for it.

Sweet! I thought this game looked awesome, and when I heard it was released I consiered giving it a try, only to find it Steam-only. Great to hear it's coming to GOG someday!

Now I only need to hear news about a DRM-free version of The Stanley Parable and I'm good. :wizard:

So Candy Crush Saga is taking them to court for having Saga on their title. This for real?
