So, what's the consensus on fitness vs proximity mine. The *+25% DMG does look tasty, but idk about survivability(especially vs phantoms)
Oh wow. Salarian Infiltrators are unstoppable.

To be honest the extra shields and health make no real difference (to me anyway). A Phantom will still strip your shield in one shot. And kill you in 2 hits or so.
With the mine you stealth, throw mine, Phantom dodges, then you shoot it in the head once it finishes it's roll.

I absolutly agree. More shields shouldn't make much of a difference to a cloaking & draining guy, while the mine has it's uses.

i 2 manned a silver with my friend playing a SI and me playing a turian Sent.
We tried gold and made it to round 5, not bad if i do say so myself.

I just played a match with my Salarian Infiltrator and his Widow with two guys (or girls, who can tell without mics?) who knew what they were doing and had... fun. I never play this class in single player. Ever. What the hell?

In spite of having him unlocked, I didn’t try the Salarian Infiltrator until reading this thread and…oh my. I can see what all the praise is about.
But I don’t use sniper rifles. I’m not particularly good at making consistent headshots. I prefer shotguns in combination with Energy Drain, Tactical Cloak, and the passives. Although I haven’t put anything into Finesse yet, just the Salarian Operator. The Proximity Mine’s usefulness has already been made pretty clear.

They know where you were - and will keep firing in and around that area. They can also hear you if you get really close to them... so for the best effect, roll/evade right after cloaking (or just move away) to clear the line of fire.
You'll probably be safe® at that point... :happy:
