So, searched for this, didn't find anything so I searched some more, still found nothing so posting, what do people think about adding Fletching to different levels of trapping? Something like the following?
Pre Requisite = Trap-Making (lvl 1/4)
Fire Arrows Ingredients
Metal Shard x 20
Fire Crystal x 2
Result = Bundle of 20 Fire Arrows
Ice Arrows Ingredients
Metal Shard x 20
Frostrock x 2
Result = Bundle of 20 Ice Arrows
Pre Requisite = Improved Trap-Making (lvl 2/4)
Arrow of Filth Ingredients
Metal Shard x 15
Corrupter Agent x 15
Toxin Extract x 15
Result = Bundle of 15 Arrow of Filth
Pre Requisite = Expert Trap-Making (lvl 3/4)
Elf-Flight Arrow Ingredients
Metal Shard x 10
Corrupter Agent x 10
Toxin Extract x 10
Deathroot x 10
Result = Bundle of 10 Elf-Flight Arrow
Pre Requisite = Master Trap-Making (lvl 4/4)
Andraste's Arrow Ingredients
Metal Shard x 5
Corrupter Agent x 5
Toxin Extract x 5
Deathroot x 5
Lyrium Dust x 5
Demonic Ichor x 1
Result = Bundle of 5 Andraste's Arrow
Yay or nay?

Interesting idea, but trapmaking and arrow-making are two entirely different crafts. It would be much more appropriate to have an entirely separate skill.

True but its kind of fighting the questionable options for a ranged rogue that made me consider it.
With poisons only working on melee and trapping being of questionable benefit from someone you want to keep out of melee range figured it would add back some viability.

I really like this idea. I'd like to see the ability to poison or otherwise modify arrows (flaming arrows?) as well as a fletching craft. Any idea how to add new crafting menus? is that even something we can do using the toolset?

I know of a mod that already creates stamina potion recipes for Herbalism which are sold along with materials and some of the pots through the camp merchant, seems to be fully integrated by all accounts.
***EDIT***
Sorry, I shouldn't drop a bomb like that without linking it.
Stamina Potion Recipe Mod
Certainly not to everyone's taste but as far as I'm concerned a large oversight to omit these in the base game, particularly when Dragon Age Journeys was being spammed about the week or two before launch.

I'm also working on a new craft, and as I explained on the custem content forum, I'm currently stuck at the GUI integration. Well, not stuck 'cause I can live without it. But the point is I didn't succeed taming the crafting GUI. So~oo, if you do find a way to make that work, I'll gladly have some pointers.
I'll also update those threads if I ever find some workaround myself.

Fletching (making special arrows and possibly bows) is something I think would be a outstanding addition to the game.
