Nope you still want to play ME3 that is NOT boycotting...

You just want to "protest" and "Boycott" without all thos pesky side effects and bad parts it has and that is more then hateable...

You're not boycotting, you're not protesting, you just want the goddamn game for free!

And for the answer to my last post... as I bolded it... it has to be SIGNIFICANT portion... not just a bunch of lazy and poor guys...

Then why let us know, are you more important than other PC users?, other than wanting to commit a crime.

I'm putting my voice to a common opinion. A critical mass is required to change the behaviour of EA.

I have been a fan of Bioware for many years. Of course I want to play the game. I certainly do not want this game for free. I have bought all Bioware RPGs to-date and I intend to buy this one when origin is not required for activation.

What I know from the demo is that origin need to be launched to play me3, If you use alt-tab and quit origin and go back to the game, you get a message saying that origin has been close and the game will exit !

And it does for both solo campaign and multiplayer !!!

With the way things are going...That won't happen.

why is it so hard to understand that many people are made up of individuals? This is not a single opinion, but one of many

We live in a capitalist society. Buying it in the current status only reinforces their business decision to lock it to origin. I'm just using my decision to rail against it in a tiny way

No. You rail against it in a tiny way by boycotting the product. By refusing to buy, by signing a petition, by playing it on Xbox, whatever. Piracy just makes you a parasite.

ummm.... 1. Boycotting the product, yes I am
                   2. Petition? If there were one I'd sign it, but in lieu of that, I'm posting here.
                   3. Playing on a different platform? Well that would defeat the point.

Again no, because if you download it illegally you are not boycotting. You are merely refusing to pay for it.

If I boycott TV, I refuse to own a TV and refuse to pay for one. If I have a TV and watch it but refuse to pay for it, I am not boycotting TV.

If Origin offends you so much that you refuse to use it, grow a spine and some conviction and refuse to play the game as well.

when ea/bioware chose this path i think they've calculated the loss, so for them was more profitable do it and launch this origin thing with a negligible loss, knowing the they will loose a couple of pc gamers, but on a long term the profits of origin games will fill the gap and hoping that afterwards will do some competition to steam. we all hope that they fail badly, but we all know it will not happen.

Fine. So don't play the game until then either. Otherwise you're just being a hypocrite.

Edit: Having played all previous games is irrelevant. Nobody is entitled to anything. I may have bought every Metallica album, but that doesn't entitle me to their newest one.

Origin is awesome, download speeds are crazy fast and you don't require to have it open to play your games (except BF3) (unlike Steam). I cannot play my Steam games when my internet connection is down but I can play every game I purchased on Origin without opening it. I bought Crysis 2 on Origin and I haven't used it once. I just click the shortcut icon and magic.

You make it sound like a whole group is with you on this.....I see no group. And the funny thing is, you would have never been able to play ME3 if it weren't for EA. Remeber, ME1 was an xbox exclusive before EA bought the company. If they didn't buy Bioware, you would be whining about microsoft keeping it console only, not ea letting play a game sereis the was console only on the pc.

I'm voting with my wallet and giving my money to Blockbuster. Consider it a perk of console ownership if you like.

If it turns out that the game is better than the demo I'll likely buy it at some point.

I like EA and most of the games EA distribute. I also start to like origin too, I think it's reliable and fast. I think some people need to change their attitiude and see the benefits with origin. I don't condem piracy, I do it from time to time too, but in the end i always buy the games, I see it more as a lone like going to the library and then later buy the books I like.

That is not rationality, that is simple projection, followed by an opinion. The solution to your gripe != justifying you pirating the game. You are obviously free to do what you want, just stop telling us about it

And after talking about it,they'll just lockhis account, meaning a very fun way of not play any future bioware games.
