So ugly, the graphics they use are misleading. The game doesn't even look like this.

- No buy

Er, they do this with every game they make these days, actually. Dragon Age, Dragon Age II, ME2, and now ME3... nothing new here. Just another fancy-pants CG trailer.

So, target one is London, I can buy that. Major metropolitan area with a population in the millions.
Target two is a random field of sunflowers with a population of a ladybug and a kid with no eyebrows. Really Reapers? Really?

The part at the end, where Shep jumps head on towards the enemy, reminds me of the end of the Halo 3 trailer...

Actually, that whole feeling of the trailers feels the same, especially the usage of children at the start.

That's what happens when you pull up a map of the Earth, close your eyes, jab a ruler at it, and target whatever part of the world it hits.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Reapers' inevitable assault on the eskimoes.

Take a look at the background of the sunflower field:
There is a city.

Probably they attacked that place and one of them decided to check the area surrounding the city.

The little girl and the spaceship going back and forth from real to toy is pretty clever. Though as someone commented on another thread, it seems kids playing with toy starships is a death sentence in ME3, heh!

I believe it was done by the same studio Tosh_TS. the trailer did feel more like halo than mass effect too.

Oh yeah, you're right. If you look really close you can actually see the Reaper that decided to check out the parks. He's the one at the back flying a kite and eating an icecream...

The whole point of a Reaper invasion is moot if they don't check every place.

The trailer was clearly made to inspire emotion and not to show logical stuff.

I can't believe you guys can't understand that.

Yes, graphics could look like that, but you have to thank consoles peasants for having bad graphics that are far below the technological capacity.

Reeapers aren't only targeting London - They're targeting the whole Earth. So yeah, makes sense that one would find it's way out to that field. Especially since it seems to be right outside a city, as you can see tall buildings in the distance.

Don't like it to be honest, felt more like they just kinda glued the newer CGI with the original CGI with Nigel Fishn'Chips in it together, so more an issue with editting for me more than anything.

...Plus the way the girl is designed just creeps me out to be honest.

Ahhh I get it. I thought they were just targeting London. I wasn't even going to pick up the game, I figured 'Let them have it', but now I know they're going after the whole Earth, well, that's different.
I better rush out and pre-order myself a collector's edition.

Oh yeah, that's what those large grey rectangular objects are in the background. Buildings. Lots of "buildings" together, well that definitely sounds like a city to me...

so many things about this to enjoy - from the husk cacking the soldier, to the huskification of humans - to the sniper in big ben watching london get blown away (its not fair - how come london always gets the major events....) to the pilot getting blown out of the sky - to Hammer taking on the huskified ground forces.

remember its only a trailer...

Btw, I love how they keep the best trailer hidden from every major site that exists, instead making sure a random click on a forum topic does the trick.

Nice. Better than the edit.
