Yeah I know, but i am still running XP with SP3. ME2 and the ME3 Demo run well on my machine.

I'm planning on getting one of the digitial download versions, although it looks like, i think, the delux version is just for Windows 7. So, I'm wondering if this is correct, and does this mean I need to get the non-deluxe versions of ME3 for my XP system?

if the ME3 Demo runs smoothly then you should be fine to order the DDE. the official ME3 demo faq also states that it supports WinXP and I can't see Bioware dropping it for release
