Dear Reaper Army

How come we get killed first... just because we were influential in the World Wars, First Contact War and all wars that will have occured between doesn't mean we deserve to be destroyed first.

So I guess what I'm saying is:

WAZ UP WIT DAT!

Sincerely,

Great Britain

Mordin explains all of that in Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, I wasn't his biggest fan, so we didn't talk much. What exactly did he say?

Because our species is the most genetically viable. Basically it boils down to humanity being the best Reaper material.

I think you missed the point. He wasn't asking why Earth first but why do we, the United Kingdom/Great Britain, get attacked by the Reapers before Vanattle/Seacouver/That Megapolis where Alliance HQ is?

The trailer is actually contradictory. If you look at the scene where they orbit the Earth, (halfway through the trailer) you notice that the American Eastern seaboard is in flames. The Reapers over Europe, however, are still coming down through the atmosphere. This would mean the North America got hit first and then the Reapers hit Europe, the Middle East and then China.

This is contradictory to the actual game, since the Reapers hit London before they hit Alliance HQ. The only possibility is that the American Eastern Coast got hit first and the American Western Coast got hit last, with Europe in between.

why do i still feel as if there is a longer version of this? the second half is soooo short and cut

Agreed, the sound and video design for the second half seems kind of half assed...Still, an amazing trailer.

They wanted to nail The Doctor before he had a chance to pull some zany scheme that would destroy them or worse.

What are those huge enemies in the last part? They have Turian heads on a cable?!?

It looks like a mesh of human and metal with the geth Legion head to me. Maybe a hybrid of some sort?

They are Krogan with a Turian head. According to the ME3 Art book, that is.

@NJDEVIL456: Thanks! Didn't realize the art book is out yet. Hopefully there will be an "Enemies of ME3" trailer like before ME2.

Preferred the abridged version. Would've liked more of the action sequences with Shepard though.

Man, I am openly hoping there is a ship battle element or space/aerial combat element like in the trailer and in SWTOR! I know people will hate that but the situation is begging for it somewhere. I was secretly hoping for it before the trailer came out, but now...!

Truly a great trailer. Nice to see how all the edits and transitions work together as intended in the full length one, fantastic to see it tie together with our english sniper friend from all those years ago! Fantastic job by your trailer team in Hungary I believe. Very inspiring!

Wow. Time to realise that it is possible to be too nerdy. Who the hell cares? All it needs to do is work as a trailer and look great.  Makes me want to go back to school and learn 3D animation!

Yep, they would want to sort out that pesky littler fudger real quick.

I am no Doctor Who fan, but you are so right about this - there has never been an enemy/galatic threat in video games that has been more in the vein of Doctor Who than the reapers. classic Doctor Who villains, right down the long build-up of their impending arrival.

It's gruelling, requires lots of patience, dedication and time, a tolerance for things not working out the way you wanted but watching your scene come to life in it's various stages is very rewarding  Too bad I haven't had the opportunity to actually work in the industry yet, my country has zero future in that department and I don't want to leave it just yet...

Well, considering I was answering a question I'm not sure how I could be "nerdy". Normally, when you respond to a question you use something called "logic" to prove your point--which is what I tried to do. You should try it some time!

I did not like the trailer. Ashley looks totally off. Shepard is also a little bit different. Plus, featuring a frontal army assault on a horde of zombies is not how I imagine you can take earth back from the reapers as we encountered them in the demo.

Yup, apart from that all the in-game trailers looked better though. It also comes off a bit cheesy

Like NJDEVIL456 already posted, he was answering a question. I don't really see any reason to call him a nerd. Espically if he can notice something as subtle as that about a trailer, a keen eye and good memory isn't really nerdy in my books.

Rest in peace, Nigel.

What's the deal with BW and having kids whacked by the Reapers? Being a kid who plays with space ships seems to be a good indication you're about to die in ME3.

With that said, that's a nice little shooter you have there, BW.
