So are all LIs bisexual now or just some of them? I remember early reports that said they were but then later other reports said only some were. Any official answers on this?

If no, then what are the sexual orientations of the LIs?

Simple answer: no.

Longer answer: Samantha is f/f only, Steve is m/m only, Diana possibly bi, but unconfirmed, Kaidan/Ashley bi according to a source who has a build of the game, Kelly is bi, Liara as well, James not romanceable according to same source, Tali and Garrus are probably for old romances only, but there are some indications in the script that Tali may be a new romance. If that is so, then she is likely straight.

We don't yet know for sure, but people are saying that the VS is now Bi and any Shepard can start a new romance with them in ME3. I've also heard that Jessica Chobot confirmed that Diana Allers is available as an option for either gender. Speculation is all over the place with regards to Garrus, Tali, and James Vega.

How can the VS now be bi? That simply makes no sense - especially for Ashley when you consider her background story. This just sounds like DA:2 all over again.

What does Ashley's background have to do with the possibility of her being bi?

Well, I suppose nothing specific but when you play through ME:1, she clearly has no interest in FemShep.

@ lastpatriot. You'll see with the dialogue, how it is implemented in the game. If it is just copy paste, ( news players ) yep, They just wanted to add options for everyone in M3, regardless of other considerations.
