I don't expect them to conform to my beliefs since Christianity is about choosing to follow Christ and the teachings of the Bible. I'm just angry that Bioware decided to misrepresent myself and other Christians in the process. And yes it is a misrepresentation...the vast majority of Christians believe homosexual acts to be a sin.
They don't read very well

First off I don't know you so don't call me "sweetie". Second off she says plenty of dialogue that indicates she is Chrisitan. Disagree all you want but enough people feel she is so that there have been heated debates about it. And don't have a dialogue with me. You make personal attacks agains people or picture spam images to make them feel unwelcome. You've done it enough that I know longer visit the Kaidan thread.

Based on the teachings of the bible homosexuality is bad.

Funny, I know plenty of gay Christians and I know plenty of Christians in general who don't give a crap about anyone's sexual preference. I'm pretty sure they all consider themselves "real" Christians even if you don't.
Old testament -> Blood thirsty god, wants sacrifices, and bla bla... that one, hates homosexuals, ****s, and goats it seems.GodWood wrote...

Right. And as Ashley never states she belongs to one or the other, no assumptions should be made that she would be against homosexuality.Major League wrote...
christians are divided on the subject. i dont state me opinions on the subject, because debates can get nasty. you have the left winged churches who tend to be more liberal on social issues then you have more conservative churches who tend to preach the old testament.

Ashley could be a muslim, then she defiantly wouldnt bi lol
Well Mass Effect is set in The Future. Who knows what kind of religion Ash practices? It could even be a christian sect which does not believe that homosexuality is a sin. The fact of the matter is that she's never expressed any sort of opinion either way.NICKjnp wrote...
Or what? Are you going to start writing insulting pms to me again? Fact: People associate Ashley with being monotheistic. Fact: those religions teach homosexuloity is a sin.

True enough. I completely agree with everything you've said; I just wanted to clarify exactly which group of people were anti-birth control.

I don't remember her saying anything in the one game when I did it, that's for sure. And considering that she had no qualms about yelling at Liara the rest of the time, I assume she would speak out if she did have something against it.Ryzaki wrote...

True true.
Honestly though...I don't see Ash as the type to care about s/s romances. She didn't make a big deal about FemShep and Liara.

They aren't releasing the game in the future. They are releasing the game in the present. It is people in the present (the ones who play it) who are offended. But too much debate with people who don't know enough about the subject is just going to get me in a bad mood so I'll leave.
Not saying you don't know but in general people don't know...everyone on the interent is an expert after all.
