Seriously. That book has so many facepalm worthy rules in it. Just...no. It's like US law (including those stupid laws that no one bothers to follow because they're so retarded) but more ridculous. It's a decent outline but following to the letter is just foolishness.

And no I'm not lamblasting Christanity. Rather people who try to act like it's (the bible) this ultimate piece of literature and everyone who reads it acts like a hivemind and gets the same interpretation when that's not even remotely the case.

Please don't pretend to speak for all Christians. I'm not even Christian and it pisses me off.

This here is what gets me.  I would accept "a lot of Christians" or "a good number" or somethign like that.

I may not know you, but I know me, and most of the Christians I know, hell, even the pastor at my parents' church are in favor of gay rights.  They don't preach aabout how it's a sin and how gay Christians are an insult to straight Christians out there.  I might be coming off as confrontational at this point, and I'm fine with that.  Sure, plenty of Christians share your point of view.  That's fine.  Believe whatever you want.  That's the point of free will.  But don't claim that a purportedly "vast majority" of them share the same beliefs.  Use all the vague quantifiers you want to back up your statements, but don't go straight for fictional statistics, because all that will do is ****** people off.  Like me.

EDIT:  oh, and for the record, I'm a Christian.  Just thought that might be relevant.

Funny, I know plenty of gay Christians and I know plenty of Christians in general who don't give a crap about anyone's sexual preference.  I'm pretty sure they all consider themselves "real" Christians even if you don't.

First off I don't know you so don't call me "sweetie".  Second off she says plenty of dialogue that indicates she is Chrisitan.  Disagree all you want but enough people feel she is so that there have been heated debates about it.  And don't have a dialogue with me.  You make personal attacks agains people or picture spam images to make them feel unwelcome.  You've done it enough that I know longer visit the Kaidan thread.

So despite the only thing she really says is she believes in God she is definitely CHristian?  I'm sorry, but there are plenty of people of different religions that believe in a being called God.  And there are plenty of people outside of any religion that do as well.  Stop assuming just because you interpret it something that way that every has to interpret it that way.

christians are divided on the subject. i dont state me opinions on the subject, because debates can get nasty. you have the left winged churches who tend to be more liberal on social issues then you have more conservative churches who tend to preach the old testament.

The bible finds pretty much anything entertaining bad though.

No gambling,
No premartial sex,
No gays, (do they even specify gay women? I've only heard about gay men.)

Those are the big ones for me.

Old testament -> Blood thirsty god, wants sacrifices, and bla bla... that one, hates homosexuals, ****s, and goats it seems.
New testament -> Jesus. Love, compassion, equality.

Or they follow Jesus, or they follow the Devil disguised as God.

Well Mass Effect is set in The Future. Who knows what kind of religion Ash practices? It could even be a christian sect which does not believe that homosexuality is a sin. The fact of the matter is that she's never expressed any sort of opinion either way.
