I don't agree with making developing characters that weren't meant to bi into being so, but I'm not going to cry over it. It cheapens the character in my eyes, but only very slightly as romances are just small parts of characters.


Considering the nature of emotions and the fact that everyone has secrets, it is very probable that they were bi but never revealed it and/or never had feelings for Shep in the first place. Which adds the sense that, finally, someone doesn't want to automatically have Shep take them to the captain's quarters and make people in the cargo hold wonder "wtf is all that banging??".

I do agree, the homosexual crowd shouldn't be blamed because several heterosexuals also supported it. I know I definitely do and will have male sheps doing s/s just to see the difference between the femshep romances with the male characters and vice-versa.
