Every time I buy a veteran pack from the shop I wind up with a weapon that I already have and get "Pistol Upgrade +1" or "Sniper Upgrade +1". It seems to make no difference. What does that mean and what does it do?

Don't quote me as I haven't checked, but it might be the whole "I, II, III... X" thing.

Weapons go from mark I (one) to X (ten). Everytime it gets higher you will get a damage boost and the weight will become less for that weapon.
