In other jobs you get fired for making stupid mistakes when you are supposed to be professional. Especially on a multi-million product.
Dude, it happens. All the time. In TV. In film. In games. Etc. Go browse IMDB a bit.
PROOF READ YOUR SH*T BIOWARE. It is the first part of the bloody game!! And zandercode people have been saying dev's have confirmed this pathetic error and it is not a dreadnought.
You know you're kinda being a dick, right?

Actually, it really is a dreadnaught. I just got the artbook and they show a cruiser and a dreadnaught side by side and I can tell you they look so similar but the ship that blows up is in fact the model used for dreadnaughts.
No it is definitely a Cruiser take a good look again and you'll see the dual protruding canons that the dreadnought lacks.

Sorry son but it has been confirmed by dev's that this is NOT a dreadnought, and it is a glaring script error.a load of stanton wrote...
it was a dreadnought if it was a cruiser the reaper would of 1 shotted it with its main gun while this ship took 2-3 shots from the main gun of said reaper 1 to drop shields 2 to finish it of end of story

Now whether a dreadnaught should be able to get that low to the ground without crashing is debatable, as the lore says they can't land on planets, though this one doesn't exactly land and they are in a rather extreme situation where they may be willing to pull a few more dangerous moves like that.

that's becuase it's a scripted event, if you stay behind 10 hours it will receive 1000000000000000 shots and still not explodea load of stanton wrote...

AAA title my foot.
Here's more to RAEG about:
Elanos Haliat in ME1? Supposed to be turian. They goofed and he ended up human.
All those "cruisers" at the Battle of the Citadel? Yeah, that was originally the dreadnought model.
Pressly says "The Terminus System" in ME2's intro.

Yeah, and they wanted to fix it, but the VO was done and it wasn't feasible to re-record. COPE.

Actually you can make it take 1000 shoots before it goes down just don't move forward ..also how the hell do you know the reaper is using it's main gun?
Oh and BTW it was a cruiser.

You are overriding a dev then?Zandercode wrote...
The only difference in appearance between a dreadnaught and a cruiser is the dreadnaught has 4 thrusters like the Normandy instead of 2, and the main guns appear to be a part of the thrusters portions of the ship instead of the central hull like the cruisers, otherwise, they look damn similar. Notice how the ship in the demo is firing its guns from either side or "shoulder" instead of the big central portion - that proves it is a dreadnaught and not a cruiser, a cruiser fires from the center as seen in the final battle against Sovereign in ME1. So Ash/Kaidan were correct.
Now whether a dreadnaught should be able to get that low to the ground without crashing is debatable, as the lore says they can't land on planets, though this one doesn't exactly land and they are in a rather extreme situation where they may be willing to pull a few more dangerous moves like that.

Those were the original dreadnought model. They goofed.
ETA: Also, think: what is the defining characteristic of a dreadnought? They're basically one giant gun. So no: the fact that it fires from the sides doesn't prove jack. Well, other than the fact that it's a CRUISER.

this makes me wonder if there were as much complaining threads in ME2s time when Legion said "when you spoke to Nazara on ILOS"
People liked Legion too much for that.
