The Geth are a life form though. Organic or Synthetic is irrelevant.

They were created and fabricated as tools. They aren't a life form. They are machines.

They aren't born, they don't even breath and aren't even self aware unless in big group.  "Self aware"?  Sure.  Alive?  Not so much.

If the internet became self aware tomorrow, I wouldn't consider it a form of life either.

If I have to chose between the two then the Geth are going to be recycled into toaters.... pity, as I did rather like Legion and the insight he provided into the Geth.

Not in my oppinion.

I have read a few spoilers but not regarding this, or to the extent that I actually know what everything is leading to. And I prefer to keep it that way. In any event, as some have said, peace is the first option.

If that goes wrong, and I'm almost 99% sure it will, I have no idea...

Just read up on how to achieve peace. It's harder for Paragons to achieve it, but if they succeed, Paragon's will have more forces.

I'll try to save both of them..If that isn't an option, I think I'll let them die both, just because neither of them really deserve to be saved. The Quarians are all slavers, even if they want their home back. The Geth are trying to gain freedom, but they're still machines..They can be easily rewritten by Reapers.

Seriously speaking, trying to go for peace. But I am not sure if it's possible with me not destroying heretics. I tried to do everything for the peace, but didn't know that this decission might backfire it all.

Well, I'm with Quarians if it comes to that. They are organics and Tali has helped me more than Geth have. Not to mention, Reapers seem to have no problem rewriting them.

Hm, basicaly tried to look at the ME2 factors regarding the peace sollution. But there was two things I didn't understand what the writer ment with it...

SPOILERS FOR SOME:

· Do Geth N7a to get Peace Admiral (+1)
· Saved Admiral in N7a (+1)

Ahaa... Thank you for the info. I didn't blow up the Geth, rewrote them, so I wanted to check what I needed to do in order to get the peace.

I guess I am golden if I get these two done.

That's my understanding. My save is pretty much the same.

I voiced my opinion in ME2; the Quarians and Geth are stronger together, and thus the galaxy has a far greater benefit from them being united. The Quarians should have their planet back, whilst they also help the Geth in developing a giant platform to house theml. I have an image in my head that resembles a giant ring, similar to those around Saturn, except it also doubles as a planetary defense base.

I get the feeling that the pro-Geth don't really stop and think what the Quarians had been put through.

You disperse blame over all the Quarian heads as if the Quarians had some sort of group consensus thing going on. If the US drones achieved sentience tomorrow and the government would go to war with them, how guilty would you be? How guilty your 90 year old grandmother? How guilty your infant cousin?

And yet, the Geth DO have consensus. And they achieved consensus and massacred the grandmother and the infant cousin just as well as the military or the government.

I don't blame modern Quarians just as I don't blame modern Geth. For the Quarians part none of them were alive during the war, and for the Geth they have evolved and changed over time, and from my experience with Legion don't really seem to be hostile.

No matter who is at fault, I'm going to make peace. 300 years of hate is long enough.
