How cool is that image? It is from Dragon Age The SIlent Grove, the new Dragon Age comic coming from Dark Horse comics. Issue #1 of the bi-weekly series will be available tomorrow Wednesday Feb 22. The comic is written by Dragon Age Lead Writer David Gaider and drawn by artist Chad Hardin and features a new Dragon Age adventure with Alistair, Isabela and Varric!

Dragon Age The Silent Grove is available digitally from Dark Horse Comics, so even if you don't live near a comic shop, you can still read a copy from the comfort of your PC or mobile device.

I've been looking forward to it. With those three characters, the snappy one-liners ought to be the best (don't let me down David!) But... bi-weekly? Man... you people are just evil :(.

[edit to add]

I was a bit confused for a while, but did some digging and thought I might add the info here...

@davidgaider - First issue comes out on the 22nd. And is electronic-only, so no comic store needed. :)

@davidgaider - In case you want a physical copy of @DarkHorseComics "Dragon Age: the Silent Grove", the collected HC edition of #1-6 go on sale July 25th!

And all info on buying Dark Horse digital comics is HERE.

Looking forward to it. Posted Image I've been hearing good things from the sites that have reviewed it already.

Also, I better get my surprising revelation about dragons in there. Posted Image

Interesting first part. The only other thing I'll add is that I like this Alistair. It's pretty much what I expected of him after becoming king.

Looking forward to more! :o

So... am I the only one who read this comic in their voices? It's certainly one benefit of playing their respective games so many times.

Great. Not available in my country. :crying: I wonder why region restrictions is still being used in 21:12 Internet Age.

think I should have waited for part 2 before I read part 1, it's going to be a LONG wait.

Of course we all hear their voices, the VAs are so good.
as far as companions are concerned Izzy and Varric aren't one's I would choose, but it works
Alistair seems himself, phew!

how many parts will there be?

So Does this mean that DA3 will be fOcussing on King alistair
Cool

Or dos this mean DA3 is coming this year or early next year
I hope not
It better takes an other year or two at least
So it wil be a great game after the disappointing DA2
I know that I will treat DA2 as if it never happened
I don't think it's a terrible game It just isn't dragon age
In my opinion DA2 is a spinoff instead of a successor

So good to see Varric and Isabela again! I myself absolutely loved Dragon Age II and hope the story and its characters will continue on in the next release.

Loved this comic. Yay!

It doesn't explain how Varric and Isabela met with Allistar(aside from the brief pearl meeting).

Happy about the comic, and but not so happy about Loghain being dead in the canon

Bought it last night and loved it! The artwork is beautiful. And I'm glad to see Alistair is his old self. Argh, cannot wait two weeks for the next one!

Now, if I were able to buy it through the Dark Horse App for the iOS, I would've done so.

Sadly, it isn't.

How long do I have to wait for it to come out on the Dark Horse App? I'm already waiting quite a long time for the last two ME Invasion comics to appear on it.

It is out on the app, I bought it from there on the release date. I had some difficulty finding but it's definitely there.

Yes Alistair his old self  not the botched DA2 version.

Next issue coming soon! I am so glad they decided to move Alistair's story along. Although, still want to know where my Warden is...**boo hoo I want to go to Antiva**

Its awesome about the comic and all, but what about the one that was put out a while back with the pregnant mage running away from the circle and the templars? I read that on my kindle and kept looking for a continuation but never found anything, anyone know anything about it?
