Hello,
I was just wondering if I wanted my character to be able to make it through every charm checkpoint and going through the game as a paragon, how much points would I need to put into charm to be able to meet those requirements?

Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2? In Mass Effect 1, you need all 12 Charm points to meet all charm requirements. For Mass Effect 2, see this thread.

You earn three by raising your Paragon score (One Charm point is free per playthrough): masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Morality
And you'd need to invest eight to get access to all charm options. Here's the guide from the wiki: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Morality_Guide
