I was wondering what are the warp rounds good for?  I remember in the past they were good against barriers, but that doesn't seem to be the case in ME3.  Any ideas?  Also I heard that you can mix ammo effects on a person with biotics for a biotic/tech explosion is this true?

No idea but warp ammo and disruptive ammo is probably best when we can fight geth troops since those suckers reply heavily on shields. For now I just stick with incindiary or cryo ammo for mp

In ME2 warp ammo did extra damage to enemies affected by biotics. It was the weakest ammo as far as percentage damage increase but it was the only ammo to do extra damage to barriers

If it's still the same as ME2, Warp ammo gives a boost against health, barriers and armor, but it's a small bonus if compared to specialized ammo like Disruptor (Shields), Armor-Piercing (Armor), or Incendiary (Health).

In ME2 Warp ammo was effective (had a bonus against) against biotic barriers (purple defense, like the Phantoms have), armor and health, and this seems to hold true for ME3. I've found warp ammo almost as effective as armor piercing against Atlas's.
