I would love to see my krogan with a helmet and i am pretty sure some guys want their humans without one.
Any opinions on that?

Don't know what you're going for since the OP is, apparently, empty...but I would like to be able to change the human's helmets, since you can't customize their faces anyway. I'm not a fan of the death mask...

Ah, I don't see why they didn't just add helmets in the first place. Helmets are pretty cool in MP.

I love Death mask, it's the best looking helmet out there.

Only reason why I don't use it in ME2, is because I couldn't drink whiskey with it.

I agree, I really like salarian and turian helmets as well so it'd be cool to be able to turn them off / on and for the humans I guess you could have a face character creator like the sp's ??? Or stock faces, doesn't matter to me since I think humans in mass effect look cooler with their cool helmets on

For what it's worth, I support full customization of all MP characters. This includes helmets as well as faces (skin colour, hair style, etc).

Me too mate. I see no reason why it shouldn't be possible. I guess they'd have to make face customization for other races too, thou.

I managed to unlock the skin tone customization for the Krogan, and I have to say it was kind of disappointing. It wasn't the variety that bothered me (though there aren't a lot), but the subtlety. You can hardly tell a difference between them, and other players certainly won't notice unless you have full squad of Krogans with different skin tones stand next to each other.

I'd be happy to look that cool in MP. Customizable faces isn't really worth it IMO because on the aliens its barely noticable I guess for Turians you could have customizable facepaint, Salarians..skin tone? Same with Krogan and asari. Hey if that lets me play as a green asari (shiala<3) i'm happy

That's probably the main issue. That being said, given how popular MP seems to be, I could imagine a load of co-op DLCs coming down in the future, this little "addon" to ME3 quickly becoming more important. Which is why I think an investment of developer resources into such details might pay off on the long term.

On the short term, even a number of different premade heads would be cool as well, though. Like in KotOR where you had 10, 20 faces to choose from. I imagine the devs could whip up a number of heads a lot more quicker than a customization UI.

Well, I guess we will see what the future brings.

Really? Aww, that sounds bad - choice of skin colours should of course be limited, but not to a greater extent than they occur in existing official NPCs.

Well, Asari have human-like faces, so variation would be recognizable there. Don't forget their crest pigmentation and the traits they have "adopted" from other species, such as Turian facial markings or Human eyebrows, too.

And I think any species has some unique features, such as the exact shape of the Salarians' bony head extensions. Though I'd have to agree that they'd probably not be as recognizable in the heat of a battle. :/
In some cases, I suppose one could dodge this issue by giving the respective species some special accessories, like a garrus'esque holosight for the Turians (using the "Lights" colour customization).

Yeah. Good stuff.

Also, the idea for preset faces to choose from is a great one, but very low priority as far as what I'd like to see in DLC. SP deserves DLC priority, then they can go for some obvious MP DLC.

+1 for Alien helmets as I personally hate seeing generic face A with different skin color, which makes me happy they didn't do it for the humans.
