I understand this is just a trailer, and not entirely representative of the final product whatsoever... But dangit, there's just some things in this trailer that really grind my gears, and I apologize if it's been said before, but I have to get it out...

WHY does Earth seem so taken by surprise by the Reapers? You think that a massive Reaper armada would not go easily unnoticed in the known galaxy, let alone our own freaking solar system. Even if the Reapers had made it to our solar system unnoticed, you think SOMETHING would pick up their signature.

Then comes the whole fight on the ground... With Ashley making her grand appearance. Ashley... Ashley, Ashley, Ashley. I didn't like you before, but hell, at least you maintained a strong, realistic appearance that could be admired by both men and women alike. Now look at you. Hair perfectly set, straight and flowing... I know I'm probably beating a long dead horse here, but man, this really rustled my hypothetical jimmies. When the world has turned to crap, the least I'd be concerned about is being aesthetically pleasing, never mind all the complications long hair would pose in a military scenario. Yes, yes, Bioware is trying to appease to a wider audience... But from what I've seen, many of us are getting sick of "the perfect Barbie soldier".

Finally, just the fact that the whole ME3 ad campaign has revolved around Earth... Sheesh, I came out of the first 2 Mass Effects giving less of a crap about Earth. Why would I suddenly want to direct all my attention to it? Sure, Earth is all that people who haven't played the games know, but I'd at least like to see a few advertisements picturing the situation elsewhere in the galaxy. We're talking about Mass Effect here! If I wanted to play a "save the world" game, I'd play Halo. But no, I'm not here to play Halo.

I'm here to save the galaxy from Reapers.
