I've noticed that the game is locked to running at 60fps (or technically 62fps).

Basically I would love if this cap could be changed, would be great to have the game running at 120fps for my 120Hz monitor (and im sure the many other gamers with gaming monitors would agree).

Unfortunately it seems impossible to do ourselves as the settings file
has no method of changing this, and they've encrypted the coalesed file
this time round :(

In the main game, or in a future patch or whatever.. can we expect to see this limitation changed?

Hope for a Bioware answer :)

Go to My Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\BIOGame\\Config and open the GamerSettings.ini file. Add the following lines under [SystemSettings] -

UseVSync=True
SmoothFrameRate=True
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62

These are the default values the game uses. I'm not sure how you would set them up for a 120 hz monitor. Maybe turn off framerate smoothing, but leave vsync on?

I would change the max smoothed frame rate to 120 and see if that helps.

Thanks very much guys, it worked perfectly! what a fabulously smooth game :)

Goes very nicely with the latest Nvidia beta drivers infact, they added SLI support for ME3.
