Why should I not be frusterated?

Comparing the writing of Baldurs Gate 2 was Biowares last good game. KOTOR 2 was a buggy mess and was still better written than the first.

Kotor 2 wasn't even BioWare.

That's what I'm saying, lrn2readingcomprehension. Obsidian wrote a better story than Bioware with a smaller deadline and George Lucas constantly yelling at them.

The only good part of KOTOR was a the I AM REVAN twist.

And that is YOUR opinion. IMO Kotor 2 had a really crappy plot. I don't really see the point of you being on these forums at all. Clearly you have nothing constructive to say and your nerd rage can be felt across the Northern hempishere.

BioWare isn't my favourite developer. There are a lot of better plots in other non-BioWare games which I enjoy. What I don't enjoy though is butthurt, people lacking common sense and more butthurt. It's people like you who make a bad name for people like us. You know, those of us who actually do like to give constructive criticism now and then and can do so as mature human beings. 

But you're getting upset over a comment I said. You're getting upset over something I posted on an internet forum.

Nope. A name call is a name call, but defending oneself and instigiating an altercation are not the same thing. Interestingly, our US courts believe the same thing.

Now you're contradicting yourself. If a name call is a name call, then that is the way it is 100% of the time. No buts about it. It doesn't matter if the circumstances are defending oneself or instigating an altercation. A=A

An accurate way to defend herself would be to call the police and say that X people are harrassing her, that is defense. Name calling them back or bad mouthing them saying that they can not get any vagina doesn't defend herself in any way.

So no try not to play the "lulz I liked them longer then you have (even though you apparently don't. You simply liked some of their games while I liked pretty much everything save NWN).

The only thing that I can seek comfort in is that Cd Projekt is still alive and The Witcher 2 is still out there.

I think there's a lot of legitimate criticism that can be levelled against her, and in fact most of the Bioware writing staff, so the fact she's essentially being turned into a martyr doesn't really sit well with me. "X insulted her, that means they hate women" is still just as bad an argument as "Bioware's writing sucks, this one woman is the cause of all of it". What happened was still bad, I'm just concerned it'll damage the credibility actual criticism or complaints with Bioware's writing in general.

What I'm saying is basically everybody is ruining it for everybody.

Our opinions are just as valid and important as yours.  We like the writing, you do not.  I did not like the recycled maps, maybe you did.  But if you really want to be helpful state what part of the story you did not like or what technical problem bothered you.  I don't like every book put out by authors I like.  It does not mean that all of their writing is awful.  Be specific and do not throw out the baby with the bathwater if you really want to be of any assistance in providing feedback.  That is my opinion, of course, but please note that I am a consumer as well.  Thus having you speak of "protecting the industry" against things I enjoy sounds less like you are helping and more like you are inflating your ego without providing the kind of feedback that the writers could actually tweak to please you, me, or anyone in the next release.

Actually as a proud feminist myself (More power to you girlfriend!) I'd prefer you to use the term "womyn".
The less we're dominated by males (even in our own gender titles!) the better.

Of course! My mistake. :3 I personally like gender-neutral pronouns and the like. But it sometimes scares and confuses cisgender people, so I'm careful to choose my context.

No I'm not contradicting myself at all. Think of a name call as a bullet. Someone fires one at you and you fire one back. Who is going to be held legally reponsible? The one who shot first, even though you both fired guns. Self defense is justified.

Saying name calling back is not defense is like saying name calling is not an attack. If someone punches you, do you sit there or do you put your hands up and swing back?

FYI : I have played (and enjoyed save the terribad combat system) BG and BG2. So...yeah never experienced good BW writing you say?
