Re: Turian Sentinel's "Fitness"

Turians do not. They can actually tank. They also don't have "Fitness" itself as I understand it, but a similar passive power I don't know the name of. If someone could enlighten me as to whether or not this Turian Sentinel version of Fitness has that same final evolution that will let me stack more damage reduction on after a melee kill, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
tl;dr (and so much for the "quick question" lol): can Turian Sentinels spec to gain extra damage reduction after a melee kill the same way a human Sentinel can, and if not what do they get instead? Thanks.

Increase melee damage bonus by 30%. Increase weapon damage bonus by 25% for 20 seconds after an enemy is killed by heavy melee.
OR
Increase health and shield bonuses by 25%.

Any way you can c/d whether or not the KROGAN Sentinel will get an increase to damage resistance after a heavy melee kill? Pretty please? Lol.

Thanks a ton, Bryan! Damn. I was hoping they'd get the tanking evo too but I guess extra weapon damage can't hurt.

Some things will have to wait

Where are you even getting this? I'm looking at Human Sentinel right now and there is a weapon damage boost after heavy melee, no such damage reduction after heavy melee.

Seriously?! Am I losing it...
Maybe I'm thinking of single player then? I could have sworn I double checked the Sentinel's Fitness bonus after a heavy melee kill and it was more damage reduction to stack with Tech Armor. Must have been the SP then, I'm guessing. My apologies, people.

They have Fitness.
Apparently so but there's is different. I'd prefer more damage resistance to more weapon damage but overall I'll still take the Turian over the human.
Here's hoping the Krogan Sentinel is the ultimate melee tank I'm hoping for!
No, it isn't different. All the Fitness evolutions for both Turian and Human Sentinels are exactly the same, I'm on my xbox looking at them right now...

Yeah it's very possible you are thinking of single player

In which case, damn. Unless Krogans are just that durable to begin with I may not reach the serious levels of tanking on my melee sprees I was hoping to. I'd think increased damage reduction would fit better than more weapon damage when it comes to Sentinels too. Oh well, 'least that Tech Armor still looks flashy lol.

The whole point of the evolutions is that you need to choose between dealing more damage and taking more damage.

I know the point of evolutions. You're missing my point. Could have sworn the melee-focused evolution path for the Sentinel's Fitness skill tree ended in a choice to have damage reduction increased after a heavy melee kill (which might have been the case for the single player Sentinel). I'd prefer that kind of bonus for the melee-based evolution than increased weapon damage.
I do want to choose. Tanking + Melee = good. Weapon damage + melee = lolwut?

Excepting Krogan, every other character does 150 regular melee damage, while the Turians do 200 (Krogan headbutt does 300(!))
(HUMAN) ADEPT HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 250
Base Force: 900
(Hits up to 3 targets)
(HUMAN) ENGINEER HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 600
Base Force: 0
(HUMAN) INFILTRATOR HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 600
Base Force: 0
(HUMAN) SENTINEL HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 600
Base Force: 0
(HUMAN) SOLDIER HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 600
Base Force: 0
(HUMAN) VANGUARD HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 500
Base Force: 900
ASARI HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 500
Base Force: 650
(Hits up to 3 targets)
DRELL HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 500
Base Force: 900
QUARIAN HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 600
Base Force: 0
KROGAN HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 700
Base Force: 850
TURIAN HEAVY MELEE
Base Damage: 675
Base Force: 0
Aside from the fact that I think the dual-blade melee pops faster, it's not enough to offset the SIGNIFICANT disparity between the two, if reaching maximum potential is a concern. At this point it's a matter of whose available powers are better. They both move the same and can't dodge. For what it's worth, Turians are quite tall, and when aiming down the scope of a rifle, you'll notice you often have to aim slightly lower than usual.
