:face palm: no no no no . look at it from a point of view that maybe the vision shepard had was to ackwloedge that vigil is on ilos.


vigil explains the whole thing when you meet him.


do you really believe a prothean empire is just on ilos? because it isnt and vigil even states the warning was sent through ALL beacons meaning more than one and edi confirms that when the dna she analizied is from a prothean from a specific cluster. so imo they advanced futher and colonized other worlds

Thumbs down for MS for revealing stuff yet again.
Thumbs down for Bioware/EA for making a damn Prothean character DLC, what an incredibly weak move.
 

Hm, I distinctly remember there was some news about ME3 that actually gave my anticipation a little boost, not so long ago. Actually can't remember it for the life of me...

All I can say to this information, and every other recently released snippet on ME3, is to ask why did you have to make us wait for March 6?

Since the “facepalm” has replaced the use of a good lexicon, I guess I should use it for your post as well. You seem to not catch the meaning of my posts.



First of all, I used the term homeworld because I was echoing the excuses and reasoning given for the statues to begin with. So, no. I do not believe the empire was on Ilos, especially since the beacon was made for other protheans to receive it-- to let them know of the reaper attack, but that Ilos had survived.



That being said, there would be no reason to show the statues as a mapping icon considering that the protheans would have known where Ilos was. Also, it's logical that since part of the message was a warning against the reapers, it would show them attacking protheans, not statues.

Shouldn't this DLC be free for all new copies of the game and only those who rent/but used have to pay $10? Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Like the Cerberus/Zaeed DLC.

Indeed. Even if I paid for the DD, Prothy should still appear in game for others. A living prothean is very important to be only a DLC.

I'm not going to jump in the "pre-order cancelled" crowd and I don't mind DLC that's an addition to a game, but placing content and lore like an actual prothean as day-1 DLC is the slimiest thing Bioware could do. Including it for all new copies like they did with DLC in ME2 would've even been fine by me.

Worse yet, they'll get $10 from everyone who bought the collector's edition because they just raised the price $10 to include it.

I'm incredibly disappointed.

The collectors edition is 20 dollars more than the original version...exactly how is this "No extra charge"? In fact if the content is 800 MS points then you are paying more than double what everyone else will.
