They said the squadmate dlc was an old idea to cover up the fact that they had the prothean squadmate listed on the site. Not a lie. They have always said we get a dlc squadmate. They said the prothean squadmate was an old idea.

I no longer see the Reapers as the huge threat they used to be. I find this sloppy. Very sloppy.

There better be a darn good reason as to why this Prothean exists. And when I say darn good I want a really really really darn good explanation. If they fail at that, I'll just disregard this DLC. There's simply no justification for a living Prothean.

So one Prothean can destroy the entire reaper fleet?...

It's optional. That's the beauty of it. If you think its cheapen the story don't buy it.

Across an entire galaxy, there is the possiblity of at least 1 surviving, but it was a long time ago. Perhaps in a freeze chamber? I dunno, I hope they give a good explanation too.

Last time I checked, saying "we're focused on making the best SP experience" doesn't mean that the game has not MP. It just means that they are trying to make the best SP experience.

About the dlc...
Do you really believed what Chris said? Specially after Kasumi and Legion?

Yes, it may very well be misleading and blatant PR. But the fact is, they avoided ever saying "there will be never any form of MP in ME3".

Looks like someone got his facts wrong. They never denied multiplayer.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not all that against a Prothean squadmate.

It only seems very unlogical for one to be still alive.

All I ask is a very good explanation. Otherwise I'll just ignore it. I won't have any problem with that.

How so? Ilos already showed that with enough power, the Prothean were capable of freezing themselves for unlimited amount of time.

I remember times when we found out such reveals in the actual games, and weren't charged for such stuff as special edition commercializing.

For me, it's a huge disappointment in EA's marketing.

your comment is the reason why im glad your not in the gaming buiesness because you lack the idea on how things work let alone what a lie really is.


since when has gaming become a one type of group?


yea i admit i was very vocal on mp being in it but i loved it after i got to play it hell i dont even play games online and this kept me playing.


just because the game feels like a gow clone regarding the cover system or rolling dosent mean its any different rpg wise, if anything it blows the me1 mechanics out of the water when it comes to the game play.


and trust me when i say this and before you even think it i am NOT i repeat  NOT a big shooter fan but i do enjoy mass effects gameplay and i welcome new ways to improve it.


just because this board is filled with old school rpg players dosent mean there always correct because they themselves make it like gaming is just for them.


im only speaking for me and i cant speak for anyone else.

No they didn't. People were at first worried that the inclusion of multiplayer would lessen the single player portion. They said they were "
 focused on making ME3 a great singleplayer experience" to ensure fans that the single player will not suffer with the inclusion of multiplayer. No where in that statement does it say "No we are not including multiplayer"

They dodged questions. It was quite obvious why they did it and they knew very well they weren't misleading anyone since their intent was clear.
