Beta or Demo?

The co-op side of things is great fun and all, and I understand about limitations for the demo, but in all seriousness, the matchmaking has to go.
Lot's of connection issues to hosts, such as infinite loading screens, connection to host lost, player names not appearing in the lobby, crashes when people leave, entering into silver games when selecting bronze and vice versa... the list goes on, and I am sure you have heard it all already.
The point I am trying to make is that the game has not had the best QA testing at all.
It's gold now, and I know there is nothing we can do about it apart from hope for a patch after release... but all these problems stated above, and the lack of functions to join lobby's with a friend is just showing that the game's multiplayer side of things is still in Beta.
I know it's been said that "This is old code" and what not, but the same was said about other games' demo's when the developers received a bad reaction, only to release a game that was the same as the demo itself.
I do hope that the multiplayer side of things have drastic changes.
I'm the type of guy who has played the other ME games, only to put it down once I have finished the SP.
But now that there is MP, I am hoping to play this game a lot longer than the others...
That said, unless there are huge changes for release, you have lost an order for the game.
I find myself getting so frustrated sometimes, having to keep opening task manager to close the game and try over and over and over again to get into a gametype which I selected in the filters.
Anyway enough of that rant... I'm hoping that there are changes, big changes.

Not saying that is the case with Mass3, but I'm not saying it isn't either. Right now I believe we don't have any reason to think either is the case.

^This, plus the game crashing when you are at the last wave and you lose everything... Ah well this is just a demo, I'll start to snipe some dev heads once the full game is release and if it still sucks.

- Better Match making
- Being able to join games as a group
- More stable connection
- Easy to access text chat
- The match does not end when the host leaves
I sincerely hope this gets sorted out since I like the multiplayer when I actually DO get to play it.

Battlefield 3 is a good, recent example. And that WAS a beta.

I havent had a single one of these problems. Not a single one. About the Bronze going to Silver, you realize the host can switch the difficulty level to Silver?
Your entire rant is just an excuse to either prove you are troll, or an idiot. None the less, I play on both PC and Xbox360 and have not had a single problem to date, minus the problems concerning buying of the Packs and getting nothing of equal value to the credits. For a game based on Singleplayer, this multiplayer is quite good. You are just doing everything wrong. Have a good day.

How is somebody that clearly has technical problems with the game trolling? Just because you dont have connection issues doesnt mean that nobody else does as well. Its great that you get to play the game without any problems, just dont assume that this means everybody does.

Technical problems can always be fixed. Always be fixed, I should say. About the trolling part, I find it quite weird that there are people who actually distaste the game so much because of the multiplayer that they are willing to not purchase the game... not even to play it for the single player. I know plenty of people who love the multiplayer, I come home everyday from school and play it with my friends who are online, I asked them while typing in my last comment all problems that the original poster mentioned. None of them have the same problem. On the role of connection errors, there is a thread on connection errors and how to fix. I did have problems at first until I found that thread. Viola it was fixed by following the instructions. I can already tell the original poster and yourself dont like the game, because you dont wish to even ask for ways to fix it yourself, you just want someone else to do it.
Quick suggesting before threating to cancel your preorder: Look for solutions on fixes, there is always one. When there is not... you can say whatever you want.

- The multiplayer UI menus are terrible. If this is what is to be expected in the full game, its very obvious that this was something they decided to slap together last minute. Virtually no effort was put into actually making the UI attractive in any manner.
- Bugs like falling through the world, getting stuck, unable to pickup ammo, characters bugging out and losing the weapons and twitching, things like this need to be fixed in the release build.
- Unlock system unlocking the same crap over and over again of things you already own. If it were only weapons and items of that sort it would be okay. Needing to unlock classes of different races is beyond stupid.
- Host migration does not work
- "Everything" button is terrible. Give us some god damn options for customizing our keybindings at least
- Needing to unlock character customization options: Really?
- Lack of in-depth weapon/armor customization

Referring to Demo as the term for Demonstration... I have to say that if this is the demonstration for multiplayer, I am quite disappointed that this is what we have to look forward to.

Get some friends and connect to them then. It's not an issue with the match making it's an issue with the player you're connected too. Or you need to get a better internet provider.

For one... I am not a troll as one guy put it here.
Just because you don't have any issues, that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
The issues I mentioned are not my PC or anything like that, which can be fixed by clicking a few things here and there, they are client issues which need to be updated.
Connecting to my friends is fine, but connecting WITH my friends is a problem.
Say my wife and I want to play a match, we have to keep searching for a game one by one until there is a spot which she or I can join without the 'Game is Full' error. - That is just one example of the poor matchmaking system that is in place.
There are many bugs in the game (including the single player) - and what my thread is getting at is that this should be a Beta rather than a Demo.
Demo = Demonstration of the product.
Beta = Client before the release candidate which is updated prior to release.
I hope that is a clearer representation of what I am trying to get at.

1) Matching making is indeed atrocious.
2) The UI is in fact quite ugly and 'old' looking.
3) Connectivity issues are really bad.
4) Text chat is needed.
5) Some kind of time-limit for lobby customizing. Having to wait while someone sifts through colors is really annoying.

If you and your wife are trying to connect to the same game. The logically explianation is to "Create a Room", invite your wife to it via Origin or Xbox Live.
Before inviting put the game to Private to prevent the room from actually getting full.
Then once you and your wife are in, put the game to public to get more players.
