Assault guys. I'll be fighting a bigger enemy like a Phantom or an Atlas and one of these idiots comes out of nowhere. Plus, when I'm down they like to execute me... a lot.
What enemies have killed you the most times?

Turrets. Phantoms barely touch me, unless I'm distracted by turrets.

Every once and awhile I get backed into a corner by mistake and a Phantom will drop me with her special melee kill.
Other than just dying from general chaos, it is mostly turrets that get me. I'm focusing on an enemy and didn't see Mr. Turret hiding around the corner.
Then when people come to revive me they end up dying. I get back up and try to revive them...and we do this about 3 times before either someone smart blows up the turret or we all die.

Phantoms. Which is why Krogan are so sweet, the sudden realisation that turning a corner into a Phantom no longer means death or flight but the opportunity to turn it into an all over bruise... Then probably turrets.

Probably turrets. Everything else i got no problem dealing with but a well placed turret is so very powerful

Phantoms and sneaky enemies.
Also the bug that makes you intereact with downed players instead of dodge roll or get behind cover.

Turrets, and assault soldiers.
Both when I run into them unexpected, assaults when they outnumber me and focus fire me.

I don't mean this offensively at all, but I don't get why so many people on here have trouble with turrets. I think phantoms are clearly more deadly - I have never had a turret sneak up behind me and impale me with a sword

Everything, except for those creepy Nemesis, what a bunch of pushovers.
Phantoms mostly because whenever there is one and you are trying to run away you have X amount of other things shooting at you.
And of course turrets, nothing like running into a room with a turret, spotting it too late and then, well, doesn't matter what you do, you're dead.

But you can end up running from a phantom straight into a turret set up without your notice.
Turrets are easy to take care of if you are aware of them, but so are phantoms.

Because the engineers are sometimes sneaky about turret placement. Placing them behind smoke, cover spots, around blind corners etc. Phantoms I can usually spot unless I get too preoccupied with killing something else.

Since I haven't played enough Silver yet, I think Assault Troopers still hold the record for laying me out. Mostly from grenades.
When it comes to getting me killed, it's a tossup between Phantoms and Turrets. You just can't revive someone who's exposed to a turret (unless you're a cloaked infiltrator). Phantoms wipe teams.

Turrets, and that's either from a squad mate screaming at me to revive them while failing to mention what killed them in the first place, or just not being able to see the whole area I'm charging to and getting a nasty surprise.
Nothing else has really done me in. Died maybe twice from Phantoms, both decloaking behind me after a Nova to take advantage of my barriers being down.

Depends on my character.
As my Asari Justicar? Turrets. Stasis stops phantoms in their tracks and then a couple bullets and a biotic explosion finish the job.
As my Salarian STG-op? Phantoms. An energy drain and a mantis shot from cloak takes down a turret before it can be repaired.

Turrets easily #1, no real # 2 for me, Phantoms are only scary if you forget what wave they come on and how many to expect, because if you know that you should always have your head on a swivel waiting for them to show, and if you see them first they are easy meat for most any class (though granted a bit harder on silver/gold as their ranged dps becomes VERY threatening). but Nemesis seems to be the least threatening, followed by Guardians. Both are really cool designs, but once you figure them out and how a given class counters them, they are easy prey and not much of a threat any longer.
Turrets though, man, they just do waaaaayyy to much damage way to fast, they kill you quicker than anything that doesn't one shot, and I swear never miss. Almost to an unbalanced degree in my opinion. I should fear popping my head out from cover from an Atlas or a Nemesis more than a Turret, but that's just not the case.

Turrets and phantoms. *nods* Just last night er this morning, I was with only one other person on Bronze. We were tearing up the place. I was a Vanguard, he was a Krogan. We were on wave 10 and I had just taken down an engineer and getting ready to go into cover to take out his turret when the phantom appeared out of no freakin' where and OHKO'd me. ****es.

Other than silly cover mechanics, I'd say phantoms kill me the most. Then turrets and grenades.
