Trying to destroy an ipoint, its part of a set of range
traps that can only be deactivated by destroying a statue.
I have a basic destroy_object script in On Death slot of the
statue but doesn’t seem to work. Is there something special about ipoints that
they can’t be destroyed or do they require a special script?

There was an issue with the Ipoint having an extra space character at the end of the resource name. Does that have any bearing on the problem?

You're not trying to use a ga_ or conversation script, are you? Just write a simple GetNearestObjectByTag, DestroyObject script.

Thank you Lugaid, "GetNearestObjectByTag" did the trick.
