Every time I loaded up ME2 that messaged appeared and I had to restart the game. It became REALLY annoying with time. I'd like to know if this is gonna happen in ME3 to know how to fix it before it starts happening.

What was the root cause of this error message in ME2?

UPDATE: I AM getting the same error message now in the demo. First playthrough was fine, but now it's back again yeeeehaaaaaaaww

Earlier today, I wasn't getting the error when I just had ONLY my profile and the ME3 demo on a usb drive and no hard drive in my console. I may not have given it enough time to give me the error, though. If someone else can try the same method, and post results, that'd be great.

I tried the same thing the other day.  Then I tried with saves and all the Mass Effect 2 DLC, I did not recieve an error however eventually I did recieve them. This error is intermittent so it might not pop one second then it will the next. I had no error for a full day. Then I did get an error.

It has to be a Bioware problem. It can't be the:
Saves: Because we can use them and play them fine offline and online, and the demo does not have the ablity to import saves.
Disk: Because you don't need a disk to play the Mass Effect 3 Demo, and we can use it fine offline.
Hard Drive: Because we can play the saves, use the disk offline fine.

Which only leaves Bioware and the Cerberus Network/Alliance Network.
Cerberus Network and Alliance Network is the only thing that requires you to be online to use. Bioware operate Cerberus Network not EA. When I tried playing Mass Effect 2 with my account in my mates Xbox with his hard drive in it gave me the error when using my account, but not his.

If there was only some way to contact Bioware and really see if they can get the problem sorted out.

Also regarding the hardware someone in this thread (can't remember who) said they share an Xbox one of them could access the game without any problem the other said they could not. This can only mean then that the problem is tied to your account which feeds back to Bioware by Cerberus Network/Alliance Network.

But hopefully like you said the Alliance Network code will counter-react the Ceberus Network code. If anyone really wants to find out sooner you could always buy another Cerberus Network code off the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 1200MSP I think it is.

Hi Zico291,

Thanks for summarizing the issue. We are investigating it right now. We may ask more info from you guys if we cant repro the problem today.
