I use the Sentinel and i was unlocking all the other classes but Sentinel. I also notices that I got a lot of Infiltrators. I switched my class to Infiltrator and did some box unlocking and low and behold I got my Sentinel. I think there is a pattern based on your class that you unlock the boxes. I think what it is that there are classes that are "paired". This is to allow for the rest of the classes to progress to higher levels while you are leveling.

This can lead to powerleveling by switching to your paired class and unlocking boxes

It's random. Given the large sample size of players, you're going to see odd situations like this. But they aren't indicative of any real trend.

Or maybe it's random unlocks.

After i palyed my human adept in like 2 matches i got the asari adept so maybe there's something to it.
