1:OK guys I've got some good ass tips for you to beat silver. If you unlocked the Carnifax USE IT. 1 headshot kill to all unshielded enemie(I'm a deadeye with it)

2:PHANTOMS: Not that hard to me anymore. Always have a teammate with stasis ready (usually me). Stasis WILL stop one in its tracks and they can stay still for a headshot. Do not let them disappear. If they do cloak just keep the heat on them so they dont completely disappear, When you stasis them, your priority IS to kill them before anything else. I'm thinking if you have a full team of Asari with stasis "field" you could probably beat gold.

3: Have atleast 2 people carry Vipers or if lucky widows. They WILL TEAR apart an atlas.SAVE YOUR ROCKETS! If you dont have to use it right away then wear it down from a distance. If you can have an infiltrator lure multiple atlases together because 1 rocket will kill 2 atlases if they are close to eachother. If you have to use a rocket B4 the 10th wave. Then you have to rethink your strategy.

4;STAY together. Strength in numbers. Always have eyes on 360 degrees incase those phantoms come around.

5:Turrets can be killed with a single carnifax clip.

6:GET your lazy bum-ass to the store and get a headset (plantronics and logitech is like $20 or that new N7 one by Razer looks sexy :P). Voice communication is very important. Most of the reason I lose is because nobody communicates.

7:Guardians are fairly easy too. Just shoot your carnifax or sniper rifle through their eye sight opening in their shield (not too hard to hit with a scoped gun).

8:The hornet is garbage!

9:My favorite 2 guns is the semi auto shotgun and Carnifax. Scoped with a damage barrel. I barely need an assault or sniper rifle. I keep the shotgun on me if im in a tight room with enemies.

Too long, only scanned it.

Suggestions are going to vary wildly based on what class you're playing. Infiltrators need to make it their goal to complete mission objectives, assassinate, and revive allies. Vanguards will ignore their allies and go off alone on a rampage of chaos. Engineers (the good ones: humans) will stun lock everything with a chain lightning stun combat drone and chain overload.\\

Really, Silver isn't hard at all as long as each ally does what its class is supposed to do.

Oh, and I don't personally care much, but bragging about being good at video games is going to get some people mocking you. Just a heads-up.

Well this is based on personal experiences. There isnt much need for an infiltrator imo for the sole reason that everyone stays together so there isnt much need for being sneaky. As long as you have people spotting and Covering eachothers backs.

Strategy will vary based on your group composition, the only thing I wish my groups would do is communicate more(Or communicate at all). Though on silver, if everyone knows what they're doing that's not even necessary.

Phantoms will also be a joke if you have a solid vanguard or krogan soldier in your group. I've gotten waves with 5+ phantoms on my krogan and I just 1 shot them all with rage up and a heavy melee.

The quickest way through Silver is 2 Asari Adepts, a Drell Vanguard, and a Human Vanguard.  We ran it for the giggles of bubble bombs everywhere yet we ended up breezing through Silver in around 15 minutes!

Both Asari need Bubble Stasis and Throw Detonation and Damage.  The Drell needs Barrier Charge and Radius Pull.  The Human needs Barrier Charge and Piercing Nova Half Blasts.

Silver is a joke at this point. 1 or 2 good people can carry bad team through silver easy. Btw I prefer the phalanx over the M6. Cc for silver is t really needed also since at most you'll only have 2 or 3 phantoms roaming around and from what I've see they are rarely together. Atlas are easy to deal with, just kite them and take them down 1 at a time. Only time to rush killing an atlas is when it's the kill target for assassination.

Ok Captain Badass. You should have a second philosophy. Work on grammar skills. Shoot not shot.

After all the bragging you did in the first post, you really don't get to make comments like that, you know.

I like the fact that he said "you could probably beat gold" if you had a full team of Asari adepts, 1 is good 2 is okay, but they drop like flies, 2nd only to stupid vanguards. I'm guessing OP hasn't even touched gold, or had to solo the majority of silver.

I have done gold a few times. The only problem is I get teamed with really bad people. They people I get in really good silver groups refuse to do it though. Don't understand why.

On Silver/Gold I play a Vanguard and often have a friend who uses Asari Adept. I only ever die to turrets or Atlus mechs if I don't circle them correctly. The Asari Adept stays back with a sniper rifle and Stasis and is very safe. They don't exactly drop like flies.

Can someone make a thread on what each class' role is? I'm new to Mass Effect and need those tips.

Stopped at "if you have a full team of asari (blah blah blah) you could probably beat gold."

If you're giving tips on beating SILVER you're probably not as good as you think you are.

My tips for finishing silver...
1) Stick together
2) Try and stay awake

Soldier: Humans spam Concussive Shot, Krograns beat the hell out of everything. Both are pretty poor on Gold.

Engineer: Human spams double-chain Overload to stun things while a chain lightning stunning Combat Drone gets attention and also stuns. Quarian is inferior to the human.

Adept: Asari stops things and sets up biotic detonations with Stasis Bubble spam. Throw can detonate, and a good scoped pistol or sniper rifle gets easy head shots. Human is inferior to asari.

Infiltrator: You are the party medic. Any time someone drops, you cloak and save them. Cloak also makes you the party assassin and the person who should activate each mission goal (cloak lasts exactly as long as it takes to trigger them). Human and Salarian are both great.

Vanguard: Humans charge in and rip apart groups of enemies with Charge-Nova strings. Drell is very weak compared to humans, but Pull is pretty good so they're not exactly worthless.

Sentinel: Turians become walking tanks who spam double-chain Overload and assault rilfle fire. Humans are inferior to turians.

REAL Tips for silver:

1.Be atleast level 10. It's not impossible to pull your weight before level 10, but level helps a lot.

2.Pick your special ammo based on what you will need. If you don't have some whose good at handling guardians quickly for example, take AP rounds.

3.Diversity helps a decent bit, you want a team that can handle all types of defenses.

4.Use rockets wisely. in the 10th round i've gotten 4 atlas kills with 2 rockets by using them wisely.

5.Stay togethe....Duh

6.MAke sure your using a gun that works for you.

7.Use medigel wisley.

8.If your getting overwhelmed, retreat to a more secure position till you lower their numbers.

9.Watch for turrets and engineers

10.Watch for phantoms.
