I just want to know so i can look into what type of paint will work best for when i colour over the female Shepard's red hair to make her the way she should be. Blonde.

Might do the eyes blue, too.

I would assume it would be something like tin or aluminum.

Well, if it hovers over iron it would be unobtanium.

Doesn't matter what color her hair color "should" have been. She was going to look horrible no matter what.

No. It really does matter.

Blonde won the vote. Some misogynstic dullards took to  this forum and twitter to whine about it. BioWare caved, commiting one of the worst crimes against blondekind in recent history.

The correct female Shepard will grace the cover of my game. I can do that much.

They're blondes, they will forget all about it anyway.

Hilarious! Got any n***** jokes too? Prejudice over physical traits is so funny, and not at all hurtful.

Well no, but have you heard of sarcasm?  Blonde jokes are pretty mainstream, don't let things like that get under your skin.

If it bothers you that much make up jokes about other hair colors.

And if it wasn't already obvious, I wasn't being serious.  I felt the need to point it out as you make it seem like being blonde is so important you can actually have an injustice done to you.

Just because for some bizarre reason it is socially acceptable to say hurtful things about blonde women, does not mean that it's okay. It's really, really not. I'm certainly not going to stoop to such level and subject others to that kind of treatment.

It only got under my skin because comments like "she's blonde, so looks more concerned with her nails than the reapers" shouldn't have an effect on the creative process.

Well to be fair whenever I meant it as general term of blondes, not women.  It seems people just jump to blonde women and think blonde men can't be stereotypically dumb either.

I may have looked like a dick with that sentence but I was being politically correct/sincere!

But to be honest I think its cool that you are going to paint over it and it would like to see it if its done well.  I wasn't a fan of the redhead or blonde but didn't have anything against either winning.

Yep. Every single one of the 20000 people who voted for the ginger (compared to the 5500 who voted for the blonde) is bitter over the fact that BW is oh so sexist for making the blonde the default FemShep . Really feeling that logic there.

No. I have dark brown hair. I'm also white, but would have spoken out against racial segregation.

False.

Way less people voted in the second (illegal) poll. Most of us that were happy with the results of the true poll (in which blonde Shepard won) stopped following the story. It was only the misogynists and complainers that followed the story, explaining the huge difference in voters between the respective polls.

This made me lol. I voted for my blonde shepard, not the current shepard. Glad to see blonde supporters out there.
