G3rman, its the Bioware Social Network. Aren't you supposed to take offense to everything? I swear, this is the ****iest forum i've ever been to. lol

I suppose you are right sir.  I forgot how abrasive and inherently angry people are on here, I will have to be a bit more careful.:pinched:

Well now you know. Now its that much easier to troll! And Blacqout, its a joke, grow a pair and get over it. You blonde or something!?

No. I have dark brown hair. I'm also white, but would have spoken out against racial segregation.

I voted for blonde as well, although I admit it was at least partially due to pestering from my girlfriend lol. "FemShep should be blonde," she said. "Hayden Panettiere is blonde, she played that badass cheerleader/super hero on Heroes and FemShep is a bajllion times more awesome than her so yes she should be blonde!"

and yes she actually said that. and the word 'bajillion'. lol.

I don't get it. I had to stop watching South Park after they insulted Scientology, so probably jhaven't seen that episode.

But thanks. It's difficult being a champion of morality sometimes.

I would not worry about it Blacqout, their tacky jokes on a social forum is about as close as they have ever got to getting laid (Tacky joke.. See works both ways!).

Anyways before this topic gets locked for being off topic within first page where switched to ranting about hair colour again instead of thread topic title being about metal case, I should point out it actually comes in lead for that delicious lickable taste.

On the hair issue, it is a non issue for me since I have never used default femshep or sheploo ever. Custom all the way, all the time for moi.

Femshep was always a red head that vote didn't matter at all so deal with it.

No she wasn't. There was a default female Shepard in the games, but she didn't exist in any real capacity. She was a placeholder, and that is why an actual face of female Shepard was created for Mass Effect 3 instead of just using the plain Jane.

Supposition based on the fact they never advertised femshep in previous games meaning that "Default" was not "official".  Because ME3 chose to give an advertising face for FemShep, everyone thinks this one is the official.

Well new default femshep is ugly as sin and she was perfectly fine the way she was in ME1 and 2 so that whole voting thing is still rubbish to me.

I just want to know so i can look into what type of paint will work best for when i colour over the female Shepard's red hair to make her the way she should be. Blonde.

Might do the eyes blue, too.

same as a 3.99 biscuit tin, just like every other SE ever released.
like everything today, they use the cheapest possible.

in fact one i can remember actually used a repainted shortbread tin.

Doesn't matter what color her hair color "should" have been. She was going to look horrible no matter what.

No. It really does matter.

Blonde won the vote. Some misogynstic dullards took to  this forum and twitter to whine about it. BioWare caved, commiting one of the worst crimes against blondekind in recent history.

The correct female Shepard will grace the cover of my game. I can do that much.

They're blondes, they will forget all about it anyway.

Hilarious! Got any n***** jokes too? Prejudice over physical traits is so funny, and not at all hurtful.

Are you seriously comparing blonde jokes to black jokes? No. Just...no.

It's not supposition at all, but there is more to it than that. The placeholder femshep of ME1 and 2 had features from the standard character creation tool, unlike the default male Shepard and the recently created default female Shepard.

If a default female Shepard already existed in any real way, why was a new one created.

Yes. Making derogatory remarks about one physical trait is just as bad as making derogatory remarks about another physical trait.

No really, you should stop.  That's just offensive.

Also, only misogynists voted for redhead femshep?  Wow, thanks for that sweeping generalization, oh valiant champion of morality...

Just because for some bizarre reason it is socially acceptable to say hurtful things about blonde women, does not mean that it's okay. It's really, really not. I'm certainly not going to stoop to such level and subject others to that kind of treatment.
It only got under my skin because comments like "she's blonde, so looks more concerned with her nails than the reapers" shouldn't have an effect on the creative process.

I'm hurt, you left out blond men! that's so hateful!

1. No it isn't. What's offensive is the belief that it's somehow okay to treat blonde people worse than black people. Suggesting that a pretty blonde woman must be a bimbo is precisely as bad as implying that an urbany black 20-something must be a criminal.

2. I never said that.
