Does anyone know what type of metal the special edition case is to be made out of?

The difference is I've never met anyone who actually assumes that because a woman is blonde and attractive she must be a bimbo. And I'm sorry - you said misogynists and complainers. My bad.

I've met plenty. In fact, i've come across a great many more people that think this institutionalised prejudice against blonde people is okay, than people that make racist statements.

It must be purged from the face of the earth. I will fight, i will sacrifice, and i will find a way. Because that's what gentlemen do.

The first step is defacing my special edition, devaluing it greatly, in the name of social justice.

I think you watch a lot of tv and movies, you're really blowing up a barely-existent stereotype. Those kinds of women you're talking about are more judged by their manner, speech, clothes, etc. And a huge, huge amount of them dye their hair blonde if it isn't already. Seriously, though, your comparison is just silly. People just... don't do that. Prejudging by hair color?

Me neither

No. People don't do that at all.

So this thread was created with the purpose of spreading blonde not-bimbo awareness?

As a natural blonde who also happens to be a woman - I'm telling you this is offensive to me. I've never been turned down for a job or kept from buying property in certain neighborhoods because of my hair color. To suggest that jokes about the color of my hair makes my plight equal to that of an entire race of people's struggle for equality is absolutely ridiculous.

I didn't say that either.

I should be offended that so many of you have taken to flat out lying and misrepresenting my position.

I'm surprised you're offended at the comparison. I'm not and I'm black. I just shook my head at it.

You said making a blonde joke is just as offensive as making a racist joke.  My response was just explaining why I think that's whack. I'm not sure what you think we're lying about exactly?

No comparison between the struggles of black people and the ongoing struggles of blondekind were made. Just between prejudiced statements.

I'm English, and i would find a comment about British oral hygeine to be just as bad as a comment painting young black men as hoodlums.

Baseless insults and preconceptions based on ethnicity or other physical traits are not good. That's what i said, and if that causes you to be offended or shake your head there is something rather wrong with you.

Ah yes, "Batarians." The four-eyed, bipedal, sometimes belligerent race living under a tyrannical government, with escapees often leading lives of crime. We have dismissed this claim

The suggestion that i said your plight was equal to that of a black person during the height of racial segregation. I didn't even come close to insinuating that.

I find it offensive because I'm from the south (US) where racism is very real and blonde jokes are just that - jokes - not to be taken seriously. No one actually means it when they make a blonde joke, but unfortunately many who make a racist joke do. It's really rather rude of you to suggest that something is wrong with me because I disagree with your opinion. Either way I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one because I don't want to further derail here.

I live in the upmarket Utopia that is West London. Racism is not something i come into contact with on a regular basis, but anti-blonde sentiment is, especially online, and especially on this very forum around the time of the femshep poll.

By disagreeing with my opinion, you are saying that it's okay to make prejudiced remarks against one group of people but not another. That's hypocritical.
