Wouldn't it be nice if we finally got what the Spectre's are supposed to get, which didn't seem to happen for ME1 and ME2? "What's that?" you ask.  Unlimited funds and supplies.  That would be sweet if that even remotely worked in a small way for ME3.  I do remember getting a couple things as a new Spectre in ME1, but that was it.

Having the Spectre status hook us up would work in ME3.  Even though I don't mind shopping or gaining materials for weapons/armor (like we did in ME1, scanning like in ME2 not so much).  Of course finding stuff as we adventure is always good.

I'm still wondering how traveling is going to work.  So much going on from start it almost seems wrong to want to shop for gear, model airships and the latest issue of Fornax. Posted Image  Just a thought...

I was under the impression that Spectres are supplied by their respective governments that they hail from. That's one of the reasons that not everyone can be a Spectre; it's like being on a mini version of the responsibility of the council.

Spectre status is most likely just going to get you into the Council Chamber at best.

I don't actually expect unlimited funds and resources, but I was always curious why they did mention in both ME1 and ME2 that you got all these benefits as a Spectre. I think the only benefit was the title.

I like my character being a Spectre. Bragging rights I guess and it does get mentioned in the storyline from time to time. It will be interesting if your character carries the Spectre status into ME3 and it has any kind of significance.

Mordin on the STG's advantages over Spectres: "Better funded, of course - didn't have to buy our own weapons!"

Mordin says the difference between STG and Spectres is that STG didn't have to buy their own equipment implying that Spectres gather their own personal supplies on their own.

Spectres have unlimited authority and access to Council resources on paper, but that doesn't mean they have unlimited funds nor does it always work in practice. For example an Admiral of an entire fleet would hesitate to follow a Spectre's order to send them into battle, no matter what race they were. (Barring Shep because he is the main character, we are talking about in general)

Give me the ability to buy SPECTRE weapons again and all will be right in the world of "Spectrehood"
