I'm looking forward to having everybody on a clean slate when the game comes out. Means that when you unlock something that you want it'll be that much better. Am I a little upset that I'll lose my widow x and Salarian infiltrator? Yes, a little. But they also said that this is only half the items you can get. I'm pretty sure they are newer guns and mods that will be available that will give me a smile on my face

Like I said before, just think of it as your current characters getting pwnt by the Reapers when they invade on March 6th (9th in Europe, because its less important). Then you have a legit reason to roll new characters and take it to those trolling Reaper sods.

Bad idea. I prefer to have a second chance at building my Sentinel or Engineer without screwing it all up. Think of it as.. going Prestige on Call of Duty.

I believe they've said they're not transferring any stats from the demo, so you'll have to make due. I don't really mind it, to be honest.

It's all a waste of time anyway, so why complain? As long as you're entertained...

Just enjoy the demo now, don't get too invested in your character, and steamroll the MP when the full game is released. Bioware has stated multiple times that the demo is standalone, and nothing will be transferred.

My N7 level is almost 100, i have unlocked every weapon and upgrade available in the demo at least once, and i have unlocked half of the unlock able aliens and i am happy to start again in ME3. In fact i would prefer to start again. Should improve the re playability for multiplayer.

..should at least receive an in-game bonus though, like in ME2, how we received a credit bonus for transferring a character or starting a second play-through. Like, oh you did this so here's a bonus. I think that makes sense it's the same concept as before, just in a different area.

Well, maybe you can get an achievment for playing the demo. =]

I'm N7 106 right now and I've unlocked pretty much everything you can unlock except the Carnifex and the Drell Vanguard.

I'm looking forward to doing it all over again. Although I do think there should be a bonus incentive for all of us who have pumped dozens of hours into a week old demo. Nothing huge but a little extra "thank you" the dedicated players. Maybe a bonus color or something like that.

I don't want anything for playing the demo, I think its stupid and feeds a sense of entitlement that should be killed off quicksmart.

Wait, were people really expecting that their demo data would go to the full game?

They expect it in every Demo or Beta I ever played, I would feel naked if that question wouldn't pop up at some point. =]

Many of us have put dozens of hours into the Demo already, please for the love of God let us transfer our Demo data to the Full Game. I beg you Bioware, please.

I love playing the multiplayer, but it bothers me knowing that whatever I do doesn't matter right now, because it will all be reset in two weeks, that sucks man.

..So to reiterate, please please with sugar lumps and cherrys on top, let the demo stats mean something to us in the real game, gracias.

Na I am fine with it being wiped.

The leveling up and learning everything again is half the fun.

And thats coming from someone with multiple 20s and every gun and class unlocked.

I'd rather start from scratch... and let there be a "reset stats" in the released game so I can redo some builds that aren't optimal.

I actually like that progress isn't saved. It allowed me to truly mess up my chars trying the different evolutions. I know exactly how I'm building the first 3 races of each class!

A visual badge we played the demo (just the fact we played it!) would be kinda cool though.

OH NOES!!! Youre going to lose the progress you spent *days* accumulating, for a game where you will most likely be playing for *MONTHS* afterwards.

Here's whats going to happen:

Youll start playing SP.
-forget about MP as you put dozens of hours into SP
-Eventually youll remember there is a MP
-start playing MP, forget all about what you had in the demo since its all new again.
-fun.

Considering I can't seem to unlock my favorite gun no matter what I do in the demo, I'm glad we're getting a clean slate for the game. Besides, I know I'll level my favorite characters right back up again because I've gotten in a lot of practice on the MP demo.

I can also relax and rest easy and not feel compelled to play it till my trigger finger bleeds...that can wait until Spring Break, when the game actually releases, and I actually have time to play it without hopelessly procrastinating all my homework. XD

Yeah, I find that I'm more happy to experiment with builds, weapons, playstyles etc thanks to the fresh slate as well.

I'm also experimenting with a bunch of different classes (sometimes failing, lol), too, so I can get into the groove.

The best part is not feeling like you have any strings attached; you're free to make as many mistakes as you so please. Lol.
