I'm looking forward to the full game & reset. I've dabbled a lot in the MP demo (N7 82) and I see that experience (trying out builds, weapons) as a bonus, I'm better prepared for how I will be speccing my characters which will save me the cost of re-speccing later on.

Receiving any in-game bonus like you've suggested would be nice, but certainly not needed nor expected.

No thanks, a reset will be a nice fresh start for the actual game.

I knew from the start the demo data wouldn't transfer but I still put in close to 15+ hours into multiplayer. I'm using what I learned to fix my mistakes in the retail game. Now that I know how I play each class, I can spec those classes and races to fit with my play style more correctly.

You already level 2 - 3 times by doing your first completion of bronze.

I think it can give you up to 6 levels if you do a complete full extraction bronze run (that is, if you are playing with a lvl1 char).

Currently lvl 106, but I don't mind the data not transfering to full game. I now know how to spec my characters, because I've had plently of time to experiment (which, of course, means that some of my current characters are badly specced, because of said experimentation).

I think the majority of people here don't care, or at the least, accept why BiowEAre chose it.

I do want the concept of compensation, packs for getting past N7 25, N7 50, N7 75, etc. That's wishful thinking. I'll be irritated, but this demo gives me a free try to figure out my niche in this new system, and its given me more insight then mindlessly droning that Shepard didn't didn't get to choose a suit.

We do get to keep the knowledge of classes and how powers actually work (reading and playing is not the same) and of how to deal with phantoms/atlases/guardians etc. (end of thinking capacity :D), so going trough starter levels in mp will be a breeze

No, it'd be boring. You level up extremely fast anyway, having everything unlocked already would ruin the experience.

Man, it's a free experience. I'll GLADLY level my characters up again and unlock stuff up... Well as long as I get the Assault Rifle recoil dampener fast enough. Heh.

I think i like idea of stuff not carrying over, but I wouldn't mind if they gave us a chance to carry over just one weapon or character of your choice. That would be nice. :P

Considering I'm pretty much maxed out on a lot of characters as it is, I would not want it to import over.
I'd like a fresh start, something to work towards against instead of having unlocked it all.

It's a demo, it won't happen.

I wouldn't want it to carry over. I desperately want to respec everyone.
A free Veteran pack (because you're literally a veteran) would be nice but I knew going in that I wouldn't get anything from it.

No please don't transfer the demo data. I want to level my characters again on other maps and against the reaper faction.

I don't mind level and inventory resets. Personally, I'll have fun starting anew. I actually think the game should incorporate a "Delete" function to allow people to start a character all over again on level 1 just for the sake of fun and trying out new builds. After all, we currently can only have one of each type, right?

What will NOT be fun is the uncertainty on when (or IF, given my luck) I'm allowed to play my preferred character class/species combo again, though. Here I'd very much appreciate some sort of carryover, yet I know that given previous answers to that question I should not expect anything.

A reset is welcome.

Demo is various patches old, has roughly half of the content of the full game & isn't up to parr with the full release.

I RELISH multiplayer once the game is out on the 9th!

Opinions on the matter are mostly irrelevant though, BW are resetting everything on the 5th :3.

I would just like weapons to transfer, even if their level is reset. I would love a Widow I and Carnifex I at the get go.

How about if people get beyond a certain N7 ?? marker, players get a certain pack (or a couple/few) as a reward for their interest in the game? Or a number of credits to buy said packages.
Just a thought. = )

I'll tell you what I would like to see - those who have played the demo could be allowed to choose one race/class unlock to transfer to their live game account. Not gear or mods, but if you love your Turian Sentinel the best, you get to carry the unlock for it to the real game and begin your multiplayer with a familiar face.

For all you guys saying you want the reset because you screwed up your character build...you realize the Full game has a 'Reset' button for re-applying skill points right?

But for those of us you achieved a relatively high rank, and got some relatively rare random unlocks, it really just seems unfair that all our progress is getting wiped.

I am perfectly fine that they don't. I have used the demo to test various builds and I would hate to have some of the more screwed up builds transfer to the actual game.

The full game allows you re-apply skill points, you don't need them wiping your data to do that.

Also, 'builds,' as in certain characters you unlocked?  Well with the Random Unlock system how the heck do you know when you'll be unlocking that favorite character of yours?  Personally, I unlocked my Krogan Soldier with my second recruit pack and have not unlocked a single other character since.

There is absolutely no need to transfer anything from the
demo to live. Think of it as an opportunity to re-level your
favorite characters, and do it right! For two maps, you'll
be a definite leader. And the confidence you've gained in
your class mechanics will give you the opportunity to help
pugs in maps that are new to all.

And that excitement you got at unlocking whatever your
favorite is? Well, you haven't really unlocked anything
yet. You'll just have to plow through a lot more fun
gameplay to get that supreme carnifax or whatever
weapon and class!

I think of the demo as practice before the release. I'll have an understanding of what the abilities at midnight when I pick up the game. That's more than enough for me, most demos don't even provide that.

I consider the demo a place where I can build my list of people I can do gold with. I don't want to deal with the general ME populace when tHe game comes out. If you think it's bad now with randoms...

This ^^^   I have a nice list of people to play with and 3 good team sets for different times of the day.
