A lot of you are being ****ing pricks. I can see where the OP is coming from to see all that effort go down the drain, but at the same time there's nothing we can do about it so just let it go.

Would love for it to transfer over but I don't really care.

I actually want to be able to reset my clone troopers anyhow.

I hope the real game will have that as a player option in case you mess up or want to change the spec later.

I have to disagree with the OP.

Demo means just that. Bioware said from the beginning that nothing would be transferring over to the release game. Knowing that should have prepared you for the feeling you are having now.
If you feel that your time is being wasted, then simply stop playing the demo.

I still play the demo because it's fun, I get to open a new present in the form of a veterans pack every other match or so, and I get to meet, and play with some cool people.

When the game is released, I still get to do all of that.

You should get a reward of some sort. Those who didn't play the Mass Effect 3 Demo would be at a big disadvantage in the full game. Starting again seems more appealing and, after all, there will be more maps, more enemies, more everything. It won't be that bad.

It doesn't take very long to level up at all, esp with a good crew, I'm at 93 N7 in a week. It's not exactly taxing.

Additionally I think if you export a MP char to SP you reset your stats (not entirely sure but I think thats what happens)

Actually the demo is a good idea just to build your friendslist with the hardcore players ready for the full game.

With your knowledge of the game should be alot easier and fun.. no?

Not concerned, I'm having a blast playing the MP and leveling to a reasonable point is insanely fast so it isn't like you'll be crippled at some low rent state for days on end.

My concern is will I be willing to take a break in the SP campaign to go back to MP during my first playthrough.

I'm actually a little glad that it doesn't carry over. Now I can re-do some of my characters properly. Also while it would be a cool thing to get something for playing the demo, I don't feel like they should give me something. I wasn't forced to play it, I enjoy playing it.

Where exactly is the article with Demo information from Bioware? I read some FAQ, but it didn't give the information that I'd like to have in my own brain.

Eh, I never expected to get anything, and I won't start complaining that I don't get anything for playing the demo. I don't understand this mentality that people have these days that they should get something for everything they do. It's sort of disgusting IMO.

It's a demo. It was put out for you to play so that you'd have a taste of the real thing and want more, not so that you would play it and demand that BioWare give you candy for doing so.

They do get something, they just don't want it to be taken away.

I wish there was an option to transfer it, because I can see that those who have infinite amount of time on their hands could easily level up again and get level 10 widow despite the ridiculous drop rate, but I for one don't.
