Pretty sure it's: Energy drain + Overload.

Both of these skills have an AoE so you can Tech burst groups of enemies.

I don't think overload can do it.  Overload is not one of those powers which is a source/detonator for Electrical explosions.  Its just a source.  You'll need Incinerate to detonate it, if you're an engineer-type.

Yes it can, Overload is a detonator. I was a Sentinel spamming Overload with an Engineer on my team and we were tech bursting everything. I'm 90% sure he was using Energy Drain.

You're correct about Inferno Grenade but incorrect about Carnage, it is an effect which can cause Fiery Explosion, just check the Bioware post that I'm paraphrasing from.

As far as what can detonate the explosions, it's anything but the power from the list that sets up that effect according to Bioware. Therefore, if setting up a fire explosion, you cant detonate with the power that you set up the explosion with. You can use Energy Drain to set off Overload and vice versa but you can't use Overload to set off Overload. The same applies to Fire/Ice types and Carnage even though its odd to be on the list.

I do know for a fact that Carnage works though, not only is it listed on Bioware's official post on this subject, but I've seen a BF3 Soldier detonate one of my energy drain's with it and vice versa.

lightning tech bursts are awesome, especially against geth. One guy spamming overload and one guy using energy drain will giveyou a ton of tech bursts and a whole bunch of destroyed geth.

I'm not sure how the others work though, Overload + incinerate seems to work sometimes but half the time it seems like it doesn't.

Anyone know if overload + warp would yield a tech burst on the turian sentinel? According to the guide posted above it should but it doesn't seem to work.

Yes Overload > Warp will work, but the timing is the tricky part that throws some people. The second power has to hit the enemy while he is still in the throws of the effect of the first. Due to the fact almost all tech power's effects only last a few seconds (outside of Cryo Blast) it's alot more difficult to cause your own tech bursts unless you're at point blank range.

The reason point blank range helps is that it effectively removes the travel time for the second power. The only other way to get more realiable Tech Bursts is to find ways to lower your recharge speed, but even that only helps so much and I'm pretty sure that its impossible to detonate Overload with a traveling (non electricity based) power after a certain range.
