Is it just me or does it seem that the ME3 multiplayer demo really doesn't want you to play with your friends? There is no join lobby as a group option, if you leave a game before it's over you get none of your rewards, the games are 20 minutes a piece, and trying to find a lobby with only three people and inviting a friend usually leaves you with no party leader by the time they can load.
I have seriously spent half an hour at a time trying to find lobbies with an open spot to have two of us join before just giving up. This isn't a problem on bronze where most of us can solo so we can start a room for two, but if you want to run silver or gold it is oppressive. I really hope this is changed in the full version.

Make a private game, invite your friend then switch it to public

And do what? Sit there and wait for eternity until someone joins? There should be a group matchmaking system in all honesty.

I agree with you. They need a better party system so you and a friend can jump into public matches together. Making a private match is fine if you have 3 or 4 people, but if you just have one friend, it's not as fun playing dynamic duo than having a full team.

So you want someone else to wait for eternity until you and your friend join to get a 4 man group?

This needs to be heard. It really is hard to play with your friends in a Co_Op game. It should not be that way. I guess they are trying to promote full squad communication, but a lot of people don't use/have mics anyway, and the in-game chat on PC is horrid. I second this.

How do you do that? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but I couldn't figure out how to change a private to a public.

Also, what MrAnthonyDraft said.

I'll give that a try next time I play, thanks.
