If you have a girlfriend who'd actually consider that romantic, I'd say you have the envy of the entire Internet. And a refreshingly non-traditional girlfriend: most chicks supposedly go for expensive restaurants or candlelit dinners at home, so I'd say "Mass Effect 3 midnight release" is breaking the mold somewhat.

Of course, if she happens to read these forums you've just completely ruined the surprise.

don't be, when i first met my girlfriend, i thought she was out of my league.  she was athletic, played lacrosse and worst of all from Baltimore. 2 hours away  I was a scrawny VA guy, who didn't feel comfortable in his own skin at parties.  Well, I'm glad I didn't back down .....just remain calm, and be determined to have a good evening.
