Who else thinks the combat engineers turrents need to be nerfed a bit? If it even sees me I can say goodbye to all my shield and half my health. And if I'm taking fire and theres no cover that close I'm pretty much dead. The worst is when you get downed, get back up and oh hey, turret decides to instantely kill you.

That's kind of what turrets do. Mindlessly fire at things.
Just check your surroundings, and you're fine.
On the other hand, I am tired of invisible turrets.

I don't mind them but I usually play as a Human Engineer with the Phalanx which takes down armour so quickly along with overload to screw over its shields.

The game wouldn't be a challenge if turrets and even Phantoms were nerfed

I just think they're too accurate. 100% of their burst hits you and it's a longer burst than normal enemies.

You can still kill it during it's reload if 2 people focus on it on gold. Not to mention that overload and energy drain also do a nice damage to it's armor.

Turrets makes a melee krogan a pain to play on Bronze. A single turret can down me in no time while I need 4+ enemies to make a dent in my health. Hell I can go hand to hand against heavy mech (unless it decides to grab me) and win.
But turrets, god forbid if I leave cover when one is around, god forbid to try to revive a team mate who died close to a turret, suicidal.

Bioware, don't make the game easier. This isn't COD. This isn't GOW. Deal with it.

I would say just a touch weaker. maybe not so much health. otherwise its to easy.

Turrets do not need to be nerfed. Learn to play.

As long as I'm aware the thing is there turrets aren't much of a problem. A full clip from the Phalanx is usually enough to rip through its shields and armor, a little more on silver and gold.
Its when an Engineer drops one behind me or around the corner that the thing rips through most of my shields and health. Charging turrets does nothing but get me a face full of bullets. Trying to get to an objective with a turret blocking the way is a pain in the butt as well.
Anyway, I don't think they need to be nerfed but it would be nice if the characters would say, "Turret!" when an engineer drops one nearby.

I'm not saying make them extremely easy to handle, just don't make it so if get downed by a turret its hard for another team member to pick you up. They're too accurate.

I tend to blow away any Combat Engineer I see before he has a chance to deploy a turret.

I think they should be slightly weakened for bronze, give newer players less trouble, on the other hand, after a week or so of playing they should know where and when to expect them.

It seems intentional that combat engineers bait you with one turret out in the open and then place another one in your blind spot... and once you go for that one, another one is placed behind you. Frustrating, but in a fun way.

This.
Some decent audio clues would probably be enough to take away the major problem with turrets.

Turrets are fine. Treat Engineers as a priority target to make sure they don't set them up to begin with and stay with your team an you will be fine.

You can actually sprint perpindiculur to (or sprint circles around) them, and they won't be able to hit you.

I was able to circle strafe one before, but I think I had an Adrenaline Module equipped that time.

I have no problem with the game providing a good deal of difficulty, but turrets really stick out among everything else. If I get anywhere near one of those things while out of cover (which is pretty easy considering their small profile and lack of audio queues) I'm dead. You can't flank them, they have shields AND armor, they deal the largest amount of concentrated damage of any enemy in game, and if you didn't kill the engineer that set them up he'll put another one out.

Well Engineer turrets need to be made better, I have fully upgraded and it goes down pretty damn fast and i play on bronze.

Fine the way it is. Remember that Overload then Warp pretty much destroys it in 2 shots.
Also...makes you pay attention. When you see an Engineer, you HAVE to kill him before he puts that turret down.

Nope, they don't. They punish stupid players, exactly like they should (I've copped it from turrets pretty bad on plenty of occasions).

No they don't. You can handle turrets easily if you aren't a ****** about it. To everyone complaining about turrets. Try I dunno.. Not standing in front of them? That should probably help.
Also you wait it stops shooting before you fire at it. I don't know why I have to say this this is common sense.

Turrets don't need to be nerfed. Just don't walk in front of them.
Next we will be nerfing phantoms because they are too strong, and atlas that has too much health, and guardians riot shields can't be beaten...
Its really nice having a somewhat challenging co-op game for once.
