Turrets are annoying, but not impossible to beat. Just don't stand too long or you're going down pretty fast.

tbh I prioritise combat engineers over phantoms, with a phantom I just overload there barrier and slam a few viper shots into them and they run off and hide for the next minute and a half most of the time, engineers if I leave them alone there going to either A deploy a god damn turret or B run to the nearest atlas that the rest of the team have downed to 2 bars and full heal it in 0.5 seconds

turrets can and will cut off huge chunks of the map with a deadly hale of bullets once there set up you need to either kill all engineers before they deploy, or failing that kill them while deploying and then destroy the turret before its fully set up, some sort of sheild stripper and a heavy pistol gets that job done (i advice phalax)

I don't think so. On other note, when you join already continuing game and when there is a turret near your spawning area.....no point of joining that game at all.

They are powerful, but I think overall they are ok. Some people mentioned making them slightly less accurate, that seems like the way to go in my opinion. They are pretty easy to take out once you know they are there. An overload/sniper shot is enough or even a warp/throw combo. Might need an extra bullet or two in there but they aren't too tough.
It's only when they get the drop on you that they are a problem, and that's exactly what they are meant to do. Working as intended.

Definitely not. They encourage the use of cover, for one thing, the idea of which seems wasted on so many players. They're not difficult to take out as long as you know where they are. In fact as long as you have some cover, you can easily destroy them without taking a scratch, seeing as they pause to reload every few seconds. Just pop out, fire a few quick bullets, then duck back into cover when the turret opens fire again.

...or just take out the Engineer as soon as you see him. I'm pretty sure turrets are working exactly as intended at the moment.

I don't find them as dangerous as I did to begin with, but they can be a chore and a timesink to take down with certain classes. It's just not fun spending half your ammo on them because nobody has grenades or overload available.

At least with an Atlas it's fun trying to stay safe while kiting it around and dealing with adds while you're cursing that the team has already spent 8 rockets, but the turrets just.. sit there and kindly wait for you to take them out.

Stop asking for nerfs and learn to play.

Elitism before the game is even out! I like where this is going.

Maybe a slight health nerf. If they're that powerful and accurate at long range they shouldn't be so bulky.

If it is too challenging, play on bronze. There, I think, every class can play solo.
