Why is it the rewards (exp and credits) for getting through all waves of Silver cept the last one (usually fail on the assasinate missions) rewards less than clearing bronze?

I would think making it through 5-6 rounds of silver should be equal to clearing bronze myself. The whole risk vs reward mentality. Plus we cant quit early to get the reward because quitting or disconning loses everything.

Because you gotta win to reap the rewards.

Otherwise I'd just spam Gold missions to round 3 and not really worry about anything else anyway.

Yea but by your logic your promoting people slumming in bronze bored to tears because they get more reward.

Don't play the game for rewards, play for fun. Otherwise you could just grind the bronze. :)

I see what you mean, getting to silver 10 and failing isn't as good as a bronze win. But by that stage, you'll have earned slightly more credits just from the two objectives. I do feel that the XP difference should be larger between bronze and silver. It's not even quite double.

Because you waste a lot of time doing bronze?  silver gives you more than double the reward, so unless you can do bronze in 2/5 of the time you do silver, silver is better.

if you accomplish those in game achievement goals they elicit more awarded credits which pay more than bronze in silver and gold.

In gold I got 693 points for killing one guy on gold bronze usually peaks at 200 something..

Bronze Assault Trooper: 220 Points
Gold Assualt Trooper: 440 Points(I think, only played Gold once and disconnected after killing this guy[Crappy internet] so I'm unsure if that is what I saw or not)

In my experience getting to wave 10 in silver gets you about 1/3 to 1/2 of total exp, which means i was getting values of about 60k to 90k.

Here is a tip on winning wave 10 ez. Dont rush and use the damned missile launchers, wave 10 is the perfect time to use them. Too often had i seen people rushing to hold the line quest w/o clearing a bit first, and/or tried to combat Atlases with weapons. Quite suicidal.

so far the highest i got 110k exp in bronze and 196k in silver. Not quite the double. Considering bronze is also faster, id even say bronze gives more reward pro time spent.

(+- numbers) I get 115,000 xp and 15,000$ for beating bronze while i get 185,000 xp and 35,000$ for beating silver. I'd go with bronze to level up and silver to earn credits.

I was talking about credits.  15k vs. 37k.

yeah. Im just wanted to reinstate this to kill that urban legend that silver is so much better and everyone should do it. Sick of seeing lvl5 in silver and lvl10 in gold.

Although, for reference, beating gold just gave me 316k exp and 53k gold in 30min, so for money silver seems indeed the way to go.
