Some people have been talking about the PC not being voiced, which got me thinking...

Does anyone read the PC's line out-loud?

For example, you have three choices, and you know which one you are going to pick, so you read it out-loud and then click the option. Then the other character will respond.

I have never, ever thought about doing this, mainly because if I saw myself doing this I would think I am crazy.

So what do you guys think about this?:?

I voice act them in my head. Although that sort of probably sound like I'm not entirely sane :P

I do, and I try to match the accents that I imagine my character having. It's fun, and frankly I don't care how weird it is. :P

I think there was one game that do that was Tom Clancy: End War or whatever it called that requires to use our voice mic to give orders and what to do next. I can not remembered if thats what you are talking about.

I do, when the lines are particularly funny.

Hahaha i do that sometimes, but only when i'm home alone and feeling like being a little bit ridiculous.

If my roommate witnessed it, however, i don't think i'd ever hear the end of it... xD

My voice acting would be, sadly, a most foul affair. So I try to use my inner voice, so as to not decimate my immersion.

Oh yeah, and so my gf doesn't think I've completely lost it.

I played that game, and no, thats not what I am talking about, but...

that would be a pretty cool feature, (optional) in-order to select your conversation choice you have to speak it. interesting concept.

Isn't the next Fable doing something with Natal? I think they might do something like that. (remember Milo?)

I voice some lines, but mostly I just imagine how the scene plays out in my head.
Sometimes I don't bother saying the scripted lines, I'm just like: Oh, that is IT! You are SO dead!"

I usually stand up and act them out to be honest.

Oh, well, yeah I do that.  With a lot more swearing, though.  I mean, yelling and swearing at my monitor is completely normal behavior, right?

I do hear them in my head, but if I were to actually voice them my parents would probably send me to a mental institution.

I do occasionally burst out in evil laughter, but that's a separate issue.

I imagine Patrick Stewart saying them, and any affirmation is always "Make it so."

I'm actually surprised no one ever made a mod to do this to a game before. I'd be all about the talking part, but I haven't a clue how to code.

(Hear that my vastly talented mod-making friends?)

I don't think my girlfriend would mind, but I don't think I would do this while she is in the same room.

Yeah, I do this all the time, and don't worry about it, it's normal. My only real complaint is after I voice it, I have trouble manipulating the mouse in my straight jacket, but the attendees here at the Ward don't allow me to have it off after they misinterpreted my knocking off the invisible crocodiles from their human suits (they're aliens, but don't tell them! Don't you ever tell them! I'll know) for assault.

I started doing it playing KOTOR in front of my girlfriend once, holding the mic up to my mouth as well. For a minute I convinced her that the game was actually listening to what I said and responding, it was funny.

Also, one of my characters will be Johnny Drama from Entourage (that avatar was an attempt), and I will be playing out his voice in my head.

lol  Number one?  I've never done this but I think I might try now, usually I just voice the lines in my head, but it might be cool if I do it out loud. Good idea!!

You should care, because that is really weird.
