If not, can you please upload the file somewhere accessible so we can review it?

EDIT: From some quick browsing of things, it seems like it is a network- or deadlock-based problem.

I'm working on a fix for this issue that we'll hopefully be able to get out in a future update.
I'm also happy to say that I have a workaround which will hopefully enable you to bypass the problem immediately.
Unfortunately the workaround means you won't see the correct images at the top of the Alliance News Network screen and certain images in the Multiplayer Store, but it won't affect your ability to play the game.
Workaround Steps
1. Open Notepad as an administrator. On Windows 7 type "Notepad" in the start menu search and right click "Notepad" in the results and select "Run As Administrator"
2. Open the hosts file, usually located at C:\\Windows\\System32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts
3. Add the following line to the bottom of your hosts file: 127.0.0.1 me3.goscontent.ea.com
4. Save your hosts file
5. Run Mass Effect 3.
Example of host file here
Please let me know if that resolves your problem.
Many thanks for your patience.
nb. Please only apply this fix if you are having the exact problem described in this thread, crashing shortly after the "Connecting to EA Servers..." message closes.

Thank you so much, Joe!
Update: Still working great. I've played a few public games with no problems whatsoever. In addition, for me, all the images are loading perfectly fine. Thank you again!

Hi!
Erhm, i also have a problem with the demo.
Had no problems untill recently. Tried the "work around" aswell as opening ports 39XX + 6000 as suggested in the multiplayer part of the forum.
Okey, so what happens?
I start the game, so far so good, press the multiplayer button, it connects without anyproblems, and now i press "Quick match" and BAM it crashes, no error sign or anything. Just a crash. I also tried with create game, change character and so on and so forth... I am at my wits end here, so please Bioware help me. I don't wanna end my pre-order due to some stupid bug. :S
Sorry for my bad english or lack of information, if anything is needed then i'll try to provide it.
Regards

Maurodax,
You might want to send Joe your DxDiag info and Program List as Joe described in his earlier post, as well as locate the .dmp files that were created when the demo crashed. For myself on Windows 7 those files are found in my User account's Documents folder under Bioware/Mass Effect 3 Demo/ BIOGame/Logs. Send Joe those .dmp files as well, as those should provide him with additional useful information to work it out.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help Don,
But, i tried to type in the wmic /output:C:\\ProgramList.txt product get name, version, and all i get is; "Invalid File Name".
As for the DxDiag, no problems there, and about the crash report... i checked and i didn't have one (for some reason).

oh, it was that simple? Haha, sorry my bad, had no idea ^^' Thanks for helping me Don
EDIT:
Okey, i did as you said Don, but clearly i'm stupid or something.
1. Typed wmic and then hitted Enter.
2. Typed /output:c:\\ProgramList.txt product get name, version and hitted enter.
3. Still getting "Invalid File Name".
Am i still missing something?

wmic /output:c:\\ProgramList.txt product get name,version
It's probably not the only way (as Don said, he did it differently), but, it's what worked for me.

I assume you have a Drive named C, and that you have write access to it?
The "command" part should be "product get name, version". No spaces between name and version. Try a different Drive Letter than C (if you have another drive that you can write data to).
If you leave out "/output:c:\\ProgramList.txt" and just use the 'command' above, it displays the list there in the command prompt window.
Also, I am not sure whether you simply copied it wrong in your post but there should be a "\\" between c: and ProgramList.txt.
Hope this helps.

Ahh, my problem was the space between name and version, thanks Don! Much appreciated!
