I'm not really interested so much in debating the nuances of game balance, but on whether Bioware intends to modify the game's balance based on feedback.

Hopefully not.

It's co-op. There's no point in balancing something that benefits everyone anyway.

I don't really see the point in talking about that since there are more appropriate subject specific threads for that sort of thing.

Now that I think about it all of Bioware's recent games have been patched though. It's been a while and I forgot that the first thing I should do in this sort of situation is look for precedence. (Also tired) I was just a bit surprised that I couldn't find a post confirming (or denying) this when I did a search on the forums as a whole, especially as I was originally curious if there had been any balance tweaks from the demo --> retail.

So if nothing else it seems likely by precedence.

Single player games are patched all the time for balance, and it is even less relevant than co-op due to lack of player interaction.

I think it's pretty well balanced.

I reckon overall it's pretty well balanced.

There's a way to deal with everything but there's a way to get dealt with by everything too. Find the combinations of powers that work & you can still get trolled by something you didn't see or weren't on cooldown for.

I don't get why you won't outline your issues that have caused you to shout out for balancing, though. Actually, as you put it: By precedence, most threads where the OP refuses to back itself up is a trollthread...

It helps keep forum clutter to a minimum. Someone that uses the forums for purposes of gaining information will (should) always use the search function first. That is what it is there for after all. I see topics as subject centric, versus a glorified chat hub.

Simple observation is poor precedence. Bioware's patching history is well documented by Bioware itself, and thankfully that includes their single player games.

I hope for a little balancing, yes. The fact that the store is a random system makes it a bit annoying to get a decent gun to use.

No. The demo as we play it now will be forever unchanging.:P

We will see balance changes but only after the full game is out a few weeks. They are not going to balance around a demo with 60%+ of its content missing.

The game is great the way it is except for the random packs. Besides, why do people like you keep saying to nerfed the classes, do you not like winnning? If you the enemies nerfed the enemies, then maybe you should learn how to play. It's called team work.

classes are pretty balanced already. So I dunno why they should be changed. If you suck with one class, it might not be "your class" or you need to learn to adapt with it.

I think it's pretty fine as it is.

Agree, also, we didn't see the other kind of enemies and how each race/class will fare against them. It's pretty soon to call for a balance/nerf bat...

The classes are well-balanced.

The weapons are anything but.

I have a feeling they might mess with the vanguard class because alot of people keep complaining that its op. I don't why its a big deal when everyone gets the same xp and credits anyway...

Getting a class to level 20 doesn't take too much time. At least not compared to something like an MMO. If a class or play style isn't working then try to find another one.

The only thing the need to balance is when a playstyle dominates all others. See Quarian Infiltrator.

No sorry bad logic.  As of right now certain classes/abilities/weapon dominate the battle field resulting in little variety which isn't very fun.

Most assault rifles other than the avenger are useless due to their heavy weight offsetting their usefulness.  The Infiltrators are also dominant and that is nearly all I see in gold games now.  There are many other little things too but whatever.
